The combination of unexplained knocking noises, a portable heater with persistent clicking, and the proximity to a busy rail line resulted in a disturbingly noisy and uncomfortable stay. This was a last-minute booking due to a flight cancellation so would have researched more before I booked.nnRooms were clean and bed was comfy as expected from Premier Inn. Needs a bit of a touch as can see a lot of wear and tear.nnAlso check in Kiosk didnt work so had to wait for a staff member to assist.
Sara the duty manager on 10/2/25 was fabulous.nMy company had made a mess of my booking and she spent a long time sorting me out.nI had lost some important paperwork and she helped me find it.nCapable, polite, and effective.nShe is a real asset to the hotel and should get a pay rise
Before arriving here today, I was apprehensive because of the reviews that I had seen. However on arrival I was greeted by a very friendly young man.nAdditionally once I got to my room I found it was impeccably clean. Everything is spotless. I have a background in cleaning, and so I notice these things when I’m staying in hotel. From the standard of my Room 101 you can tell that the cleaner takes pride in their job, I could not find anything to fault at all. Thank you!nParking is very easy to use and you can come and go. You pay at the end of your stay because the ANPR camera will calculate how long you’ve parked for.
Sara the duty manager was absolutely incredible. Looked after me and my partner’s every need.nFood was absolutely delicious. One of the best burgers we’ve ever had I would’ve included a picture but I was too busy eating the burger.nnThe hotel in it of itself was of incredible quality. Very accessible, the beds were cozy, the lighting is cozy and there’s convenient switches laid out throughout the entire room. Service overall was incredible complimentary tea was very yummy. All of this for a surprisingly affordable price.nnLoved finishing the day off by beaming some YouTube to the TV while building some animal crossing Lego nnThank you, premier inn!nn5/5
Great location, with exceptional customer service. Sara, the duty manager was very helpful when needed. Martin was very welcoming and helpful when we needed something too. Shelley was also very welcoming and kind during breakfast. Would highly recommend staying here.
