My whole experience was tainted on check out as I was told I would have to pay to check out an hour later. The receptionist also called by my first name which felt inappropriate when it was over the phone and I did not know the person I was talking with. Due to inability to stay an extra hour we didn’t stay for lunch which was disappointing as the lovely lady in the bar had suggested trying the raspberry margarita as I had enjoyed the apple and elderflower ones the night before. Apparently they do not recognise the loyalty club if booked through Expedia so I would have to pay if I wanted to keep my room until lunchtime. This felt mean and I did not feel valued as a guest.
We recently stayed here for a 1 night stay after visiting peppa pig world for my boys 5th birthday!nThis hotel could not do enough for us! Free upgrade of our room, top floor, treats for my children and a lovely complementary cake for his birthday! Which was brought to our room and the lovely lady sang happy birthday!nWhat a fantastic hotel and all your staff that work there are a credit to you! Thank you for an amazing stay and we will definitely be back !nnMr and Mrs Staples
Disappointing stay. Front desk was slow to check in. Be wary of the car drop off point as it's only 15 minutes max. per visit - the front desk can give you half an hour but they neglected to tell us until it was too late. The towels were dirty, and there wasn't a hairdryer in the room as promised, but thankfully the staff were helpful to provide one. The room was tired and in need of refurbishment, including the shower which was stuck on a dangerously hot temperature. Expect more for the price.
We had a really pleasant one night stay at the Leonardo Hotel Southampton. It’s conveniently located, just a short taxi ride or drive from the marina and the city centre, which made getting around easy.nnThe room itself was spacious and spotlessly clean, with all the usual amenities you’d expect like tea and coffee facilities, toiletries, a hairdryer, and a kettle. The beds were really comfortable, and the room was impressively quiet. It’s clear that housekeeping standards are taken seriously here.nnThe lobby area was also nicely presented and gave a good first impression on arrival and check in was fast and friendly. One thing to note is that there’s no on site parking, but we used Compton Walk Car Park, which is only a one minute walk away. It was convenient and reasonably priced we paid £13 for 20 hours.nnOverall, I’d definitely stay here again and would happily recommend it to others.
I paid £60 for a 1 night stay from a Saturday to Sunday and i’d say it was great value for money.nCentral location, friendly staff, easy check in and out. Bed was comfortable.nOnly small thing was the room i was put in had an adjoining room which was locked but the man in it woke me and my partner up talking on the phone quite early. Not a huge issue but just something to note.
