I have given a five star because I think it deserves it. Its not competing with the Ritz,The Strand Palace or even a Gordon Ramsey restauraunt, but it is true to what it claims to be,a family friendly chain restauraunt so I am giving it a 5 star for being just that.I had a breakfast and it was absolutely delicious. I am funny about my fried eggs and they were perfect, the baked beans had juice not the usual over cooked beans but fresh. The staff were wonderful from front of house to the cook, everyone was friendly and willing to help. I do not know why I have stayed away for so long but I have now returned to being a regular customer. I have to mention the quirky little milk bottles you get with a mug of tea, loved it.
Wow! They have seriously upped their game! The mighty mixed grill for 20 bucks is ridiculous! Tasty and as you can see most definitely wholesome ‍ Service was top class too. Next time I'm coming back to Barry, rest assured I'll be back with more friends and family.Food: 5/5
The most polite and helpful staff, awesome food and excellent service, not just this time but every time. The restaurant was busy but we were found a table with a little one without a booking, food was again excellent and came out at a good pace considering it was busy/school holidays. Great value and every member of staff that spoke to us was very polite and made us feel welcome.
Tucked away quietly around the back from all the main retailers, this Harvester looks very appealing from the outside. Easy to find and plenty of parking. Lots of outdoor seating if that's your preference. Had prebooked as there were 8 of us dining and was soon shown to our table. Service was friendly and fantastic. Our server was very attentive and always checking in on us, even though it was quite busy. We all enjoyed our food choices and the one vegetarian was happy with hers. An excellent place to visit, decent value for money and I'll definitely be back
It was lovely, clean,food came quickly, was hot, well presented, salad was lovely but the selection wasn't as much as usual. Waiter was polite, good with the kids and was very helpful. We were all very satisfied and had a lovely evening. Definitely go again. Wheelchair accessibility: Parking is on the ground floor with wheelchair accessibility, they have vegetarian options, and you can say if you have any allergies.
Went to harvester today, lovely experience!! Was extremely busy but staff were communicative and polite. I had the gammon, was perfectly cooked and tasted lovely, partner had the ultimate combo and thoroughly enjoyed. Will definitely be going again. Thank you!!!!
The food despite being given something I didn't order was good quality and tasted great. However the skewers arrived on a red hot metal rod with no warning of the temperature, and no easy way to remove the meat/veg meaning I burnt my hands a few times. After we had finished our dessert it took 45mins for our bill to arrive which I feel could be improved
Great meal at the newly revamped cardiff bay Harvester! Staff are super friendly, our Waiter was Ashley and I couldn't fault him! Food was amazing! My only complaint is they didn't bring back the Cherry Pie on their new menu!!! Parking: Great free parking
The restaurant was extremely busy when we arrived however this did not affect the service provided during our time there. Staff were pleasant and helpfully. Food was great and we didn’t have to wait long considering how busy it was. I will definitely be going again. Parking: Plenty of parking available
Food very tasteless raw an chewy .We arrived group of 5 and welcomed showed to our seats ordered the refill drinks basically 5 diffrent flavours all tasted the same . Ordered the food nice staff arrival of the food was quick might be the reason coming burger very chewie only eat the middle not very nice at all .chicken combo was raw with traces of blood very watery .had ribs in place of it very bland really no BBQ flavored to it again looked bit pink left over half of it chips was the only thing worth eating. Explained at the till returned raw food .no discount offered ended up paying full price for half standard food . Food server was very nice apart from that very disappointing birthday treat was going to have desserts an cake but put off due to food . I feel we paid way to much for the substandard food . Well the one I had was not cooked .as pulled the chicken apart and it was pink an traces of blood .even when I scraped the skin off you could see the chicken was pink not white . Also so not worth paying over £100 for . If you like me to call you and we can discuss this I'm happy to . Parking: you only have 3 hrs free parking even though we had a disabled person there and was going to be 8 ppl there and being a birthday party dine out .even with bad food we still there for nearly 2 hrs due to food having the to be redone .also we planed to have desserts but the was dropped ..large partys should be allowed more time I think ..
