My friend Pauline asked me to leave this review. The assistant on the till Kai was so helpful and patient with her and helped her set up a Halfords account. And Ethan the mechanic kindly put the coolant and exhaust fluid in my car for her. They both gave excellent customer service and deserve some recognition. Celebration chocolates are on their way! Thank you both for a great experience at Halfords.
Cameron from Halfords was UNBELIEVABLE. He helped me reattached my gear lever after it fell off my motorbike. I was completely broken down with no where to go and Cameron saved the day. He went far above and beyond what his job description was. And I'm so thankful for it. Cameron, mate you proper saved my arse! Love ya bro!
Ordered bike for my 5 year old Granddaughter to be assembled and ready to collect on her birthday. No updates on if and when it was ready to collect. Had to contact Customer service’s. Took my very excited granddaughter to collect it on her birthday. The sales assistant just brought the bike out and plonked it down in front of us, printed off the receipt and asked is that all? I asked him to check if the seat was at the right height. He said it was a bit high but should be ok!! That was it!! We were left to manage a large flight of stairs , I’m disabled and walk with a stick, my daughter had to carry the bike and help my granddaughter navigate the stairs. We were happy with the bike apart from the black oil on the white handlebars . Wouldn’t shop there again. Terrible customer service…
Excellent service fitting a new battery to a SEAT Alhambra. The battery was not only cheaper than anywhere else but also a higher spec and Ampere hour rating. Jack who fitted the battery did a great job and ensured all service lights and alarms were reset correctly. Thank you.
Richie from the retail store was excellent in repairing my chipped windscreen- no mark is visible from stone chip now. He was courteous and kept me up to date with progress. I had worried initially this may be the Halfords garage site, which I swore I would never return to. Tyre poorly fitted, ended up with juddering steering and calling the RAC within a few hours of getting the vehicle back! I can say the retail store and its staff have always been helpful, fitting bulbs for me and now the windscreen repair. Thanks to Richie for today- very pleased with the work carried out.
Thank you to Jack today for fixing my cars head lamp and wiper. Friendly and approachable. The service from him and Claire was quick and helpful. Highly recommend especially if you are time poor and need a car service pronto!
I visited Halfords today to get my windscreen wipers replaced. The team were very helpful and efficient. I was pleasantly surprised with the cost. I would recommend this place for repairs.
I was served by Cameron and Ian. Both were very nice and efficient. But Ian especially was extra helpful, professional and fast in fitting my new number plates. The service was exceptional as usual.
Bike repair - took multiple attempts and three days to get bike serviced. Service not as straightforward as the website claims it is given the experience I had with the Bletchley store. Brought the bike in by appointment for assessment, website claims it takes 30 minutes but it took 3 hours, mind you this is winter. A very complicated affair. Booked another appointment for the repairs from the assessment and the store could not locate the appointment and asked me to come back the next day. After escalating to the store manager, still no joy and singing from the hymn sheet "book another appointment” just because they don't have the technicians ... how exactly is that the customer's concern then don't advertise! After a lost battle with the store manager I left my bike in store and asked them to call me once the repairs are done. I then called the Halfords contact centre and escalated to the customer service personnel. Told them what had happened, issue was logged and I was assured that the matter will be investigated. Finally on the third day got positive response from the Bletchley store that the bike has been serviced as per the 'Silver' category, with no costs as a gesture of good will. I went to the store once again to collect my bile and the technician just handed me the bike with no explanation on-site of what has been done and what can they advice for optimal performance. When I looked up what the Silver service actually is - SILVER SERVICE Full safety check, 15-part clean and adjustment and new brake and gear cables fitted FROM £55 Perfect for high mileage bikes or bikes that haven't been used for a while. All the benefits of a Bronze Service, PLUS: Cables replaced cost included Wheels trued straightened Gears lubricated and hydraulic brakes bled cost included All parts come with a 12-month guarantee against manufacturing defects. Also includes a 6-month labour guarantee. When I rode the bike after leaving the store, it was very ‘rigid' took a lot of effort even on the lowest gear to get the bike going, it is not as free as it was before. Apart from the changed gear and brake cables, I was not informed what was done to my bike. In this day and age, it takes so much effort to get a simple thing done. This is no reflection of the brand but the duty of care that lacked in the Bletchley store. Overall not an enjoyable experience and will not be returning. Horrible experience.
Young lady at till was very helpful. Had to replace my brake lights. Had to wait half an hour as they were busy. Another young lady did it for me. Both were very polite and really helpful.
