Excellent, first rate customer service by Natalie at the customer service desk. As the shop was very busy and queue long,she apologised she couldn't fetch my items herself but wrote down exactly which item numbers I needed and showed me what they looked like on the PC. The fitter outside was also very polite and efficient. Excellent all round service.
Free M check on your bike, however be careful! I found on my visit half the work they said required doing didn’t! Given a estimate of £189 to repair a exclusive to them Boardman mountain bike that they hold no parts stock for! I Needless to say I went elsewhere, got the bike repaired on the same day at a fraction of the cost! Customer service non existent too! Go elsewhere!
Excellent customer service, fitted my new windscreen wipers in minutes and even helped me top up my screen wash. Excellent friendly service thank you
I attended the Halfords for some minor work to my car. I soon encountered an unhelpful person at the counter and the work which was booked for a fixed time for over a week I was asked to leave the car with no indication when will the work done. After some discussion I was told that they will try to do it before 2.30pm. I was unable to understand why I have to leave the car five and half hours for a pre booked 15 minutes job. The thing which upset me more was that the car steering and seat had black oil marks as the person doing the work did not use the protective covers. When I drove off soon I realised all this black stuff on my trousers and hands. Very shameful and un professional. Avoid at any cost.
New dash cam installed recently including setup and operational overview by technician. Would recommend it’s “we fit service”.
Car was booked in for a wheel alignment after a rear arm replacement. Was told all caster toe and camber was done. After the gentleman at the desk told me that the my vehicle had no camber adjust and discussed this with my garage nothing was resolved and he even said it may be the arms are too long. After telling him the correct bolts to adjust he proceeded to say they do no affect camber. I therefore went to tyrecity around the corner to confirm this. What they confirmed was the parts were correct and the bolts were indeed the ones that adjust toe but also affect the camber and it doesn’t look like anyone has actually done an alignment. Enclosed a picture of the report from tyrecity showing the car adjustments AFTER Halfords alignment and after tyrecity alignment. Getting a full refund from customer service. Never going Halfords for work again
Car coming up to its MOT date, needed a tyre. I decided to have all 4 changed for cross climate tyres. Staff were great, price was the cheapest around for these type of tyres and they did a 5 point health check while they had it. No worries ahead of the MOT.
Store is ok but I would advise to avoid in-store fitment service wefit. Waited for 1 hour from my booked appointment and a simple battery exchange took more than 30min by rude and unqualified staff
Well where do I start !!! I booked into Halfords for a service and mot last Monday 12th September 2022 to which when I arrived the lady on Reception said did you not get a phone call to say they couldn't do the service because they didn't have a engineer ! I replied No because I didn't get a phone call but she said we can still do the MOT which at the time I just said ok no problem. Fast forward to about 7 hours later I get a phone call to say my MOT has failed! so when I went to pick the car back up they told me it had failed on service brake excessively fluctuating and I got the so called engineer that MOT my car to explain to me what this ment and he said my brakes are Juttering to which I replied no they don't do that and he started getting angry with my reply saying that he tested it 3 times on a rolling road I asked him the performance of the brakes and he said they were fine !!! I asked for my refund for the service and I took my car to a independent garage and PASSED my MOT and the engineer said there is nothing wrong with my car what so ever !!! So I would avoid at all costs the only words I have for these Con artists is THIEVES.
Visited this shop today to get a bike for my daughter. I loved their range of products. They have different types of bicycles, and for different age groups, with specialists on ground to guide you on choice. They have all sorts of accessories for bicycles, and other vehicles. I was surprised they sell car seats and push chairs too. Definitely a great place to get quality bicycles and the likes.
