Overall just an average hotel. The location is perfect and close to public transport. The rooms were mostly clean but did show a bit of wear and tear. The aircon is terrible as others have pointed out. It was either freezing cold or extremely hot. The toilet door was a sliding door that didn't close fully. Wasn't a problem for us, but maybe not the best place to stay if you're staying with someone who you don't want to see you in the bathroom. Staff weren't the friendliest, apart from the breakfast staff who were great. Not that anyone was rude, but you just got the sense you were disturbing them. Breakfast was okay. It didn't change each day but there was a decent selection there. Quality of the cooked breakfast was better some days than others. The weirdest thing was twice we had staff open the door to our room while we were in there. Never had that happen before at a hotel, but mistakes do happen I guess. It's fine if you don't have any other options but we probably won't stay there again.
Easy check in process. The room was a good size and clean. However, the acoustic was not good so you can hear noise from the streets during the night. The blackout curtains was a bit too short that there is a gap to let the light in. The room as a mouldy smell. It smell less after having Aircon on. However, it was great that they have gluten-free options. Rooms: Good size and clean, but there is a mouldy smell due to poor ventilation from the bathroom. Food & drinks: Gluten-free options available in the restaurant and breakfast options. The food was good in the restaurant.
We came in November 2023 for our anniversary with my partner and what a wonderful stay we had !!!!!! A big thank you to MINA who was absolutely lovely, attentive to our needs and very professional. We can't wait to come back this year and hope she'll be there again. What's more, the hotel is very well located close to all amenities in a friendly neighborhood. Thank you Mina for a wonderful stay and see you soon.
It’s always a good stay with H10 hotel. I love the cleanliness, the breakfast, the service and the rooftop bar! Thank you Felipe and his team for the excellent breakfast service where everyone can really find something to eat! thankful for Olindo who checked something for me very quickly over breakfast! Service is really great and a comfortable stay in h10 Waterloo for either a leisure or business trip! The rooftop bar view is excellent with a cool variety of gin-based drinks! Rooms: Rather spacious and new rooms Nearby activities: Walkable across the river to more exciting activities Safety: Felt completely safe walking around the neighbourhood at night
Amazing staff and service. Very modern and updated building and furnishings as well. Our room was a bit small for two and the AC was not able to keep up with our 2nd floor room, despite it being 75° F, I am American to be fair though and love to be cool;! Besides that, included breakfast every morning was phenomenal with very pleasant staff every morning. We had dinner and drinks one night at the SkyBar which was lovely. Plenty of seating options, good food, great drinks, and friendly waiters!!
Drinks at the sky bar and dinner. Fantastic food, paella a must try. Basically everything can be made gluten free and it is suitable for coeliacs. George from the staff was very knowledgeable and careful on allergies and contaminations. Truly recommended! Food & drinks: High quality food, charcoal grill
We passed this hotel many times when we lived in SE London but had never been in. Visited London for the night and thought we’d give it a go and weren’t disappointed. Room was spacious and clean with an amazing view towards Elephant and Castle, plus the sky bar has amazing views the other way. There was a slight delay with our room when we arrived and by way of an apology they provided us with two free cocktails from the bar. It’s in a great spot too - it’s not central so it isn’t chaos and noisy, but you can be in Covent Garden in 25 mins with a gentle walk.
This one of the best hotel we stay in our trip. Had it all. The roof top is superb the snack and bar excellent. In Breakfast no hotel can compare to this one in the area one of most complete breakfast I had in a hotel for long timeRooms: 5/5
This is a nice, clean, modern hotel. The view from the rooftop is amazing. The skyline lit up and the London Eye is a sight. The food was good at the Three O Two Om site restaurant. Also plenty of places close by for dinner and shopping. Only a short walk to the sights across the Thames. The staff was excellent. Our fav was Olindo who always catered to our needs. We would definitely return!
We stayed at the H10, London Waterloo for 8 nights, ending July 31, 2024. We found the hotel to be clean and well managed, and in a great location, minutes from Waterloo, Lambeth North and Elephant & Castle stations. Plus, 5 minute walk to the Old Vic theatre. Loved the staff friendliness, and absolutely loved the breakfast buffet included. Nearby activities: Saw James Corden at the Old Vic. Hadn't planned on it, but when we found it was only a few blocks from the hotel, we couldn't pass it up. Great pubs in the area for a bitter as needed. Walkability: Easy walk to three tube and train stations, or a nice walk over to the Parliament building, the Palace or the London Eye. Food & drinks: Great breakfast restaurant, almost too much really great food. Almost, but not quite.
