Stayed here this past weekend and loved it! Beautiful interiors, restaurant and hotel suite. Bed was super comfortable and the shower was amazing. Great location with access to plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. The staff were very polite and friendly during our stay. Can't wait to come back Rooms: 5/5
Marvellously high class hotel and matching service from all staff. Special mention for concierge Joseph who, while I was en route, printed off all local disabled spaces as their own valet parking was full. It removed all stress and started an enjoyable stay on the right foot! Thank you, Joseph!Rooms: 5/5
Modern, well appointed hotel in a great location for seeing the sights in London. Great place for families with the option of guaranteed connecting rooms. Staff left kids items prepped in one room as well. Overall the service was excellent and would highly recommend here to stay.Rooms: 5/5
Very close to the Tate Modern. Love visiting this gem of a place for food and drinks! The staff are polite but unobtrusive and the dinner was sublime! Must revisit when I visit that area once again! And I must mention the lavish decor of the lobby - very modern and very chic with gorgeous floral arrangements! The room was spacious and the bathroom was modern and extremely clean!
We loved our stay there. Unfortunately, we had to shorten our trip due to personal issues, but we would like to come again for a longer visit. The hotel has very friendly and attentive staff. They are very kid-oriented and have an amazing playroom and very nice amenities for children: a welcome package, a nice bed with a cozy blanket and pillow, a candy bar, bathrobe, and slippers. Every detail was perfect, and the small gifts were a really pleasant touch. We also had lounge access. They serve good evening snacks and drinks. If you want a quiet breakfast, it’s the right place for that. We were not particularly impressed by the breakfast itself; for example, their sister DoubleTree in Greenwich offers a much better breakfast. But despite this, we still enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very well located, and you can easily reach all the main attractions. On our last day, when we realized we needed to get back home and couldn’t use the evening happy hour and breakfast, the hotel kindly offered us a complimentary lunch. So, I can highly recommend this hotel if you are traveling with a child.
What a delightful hotel this is. They have a love of plants and the interior design is stunning. The team were really warm, friendly and attentive both in the lounge and at reception. Breakfast was certainly very worthwhile here. Great selection and variety. All in all - keep up the good work … and I will love to come back here. Rooms: The room was aesthetically pleasing, boutique feel. The turn down service, didn’t expect and really thoughtful.
We recently returned from five days at the Hilton Bankside and were very impressed all around. We had a family connecting room, which was thoughtfully designed for a family with children. In fact everything was designed thoughtfully with kids in mind - those little touches make a huge difference! The staff were all truly amazing - I think some of the best hotel staff we've ever experienced. Breakfast was fantastic, the bar was a delightful place to eat a meal or just hang out, the pool was small and subterranean, but perfect for a workout. And the location was spectacular. We could walk, e-bike, cab, or take the ferry to anywhere we wanted within minutes. Despite it's proximity to all the things, the street/area itself was quiet and calm. We come to London regularly and this will probably be our go-to hotel from now on.
Really nice hotel and experience. £280 for a Saturday night stay. We managed an early check in just before 1300. Plenty of room for two friends in a twin deluxe. Beds with mattress toppers, feather duvets and pillows ensured a really comfortable nights sleep. The hotel corridors were quiet. The shower room was large. Water pressure was excellent. Radio from tv played from a speaker in the bathroom. Towels were nice and big. Amenities in the room were great: tea and coffee, water and biccies, a deep fridge with space for your own goods and no exorbitantly priced miniatures! slippers, robe and hairdryer were all gratefully received. Twelve noon check out is a godsend, especially on a Sunday. The hotel is nice and fresh and new, despite being nearly open a decade. All staff encounters I had were really pleasant. Location is just behind the Tate Modern. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay, really. I’ll book again when I return to London.
The most amazing experience ever!! I loved everything about this place. What an amazing service from all the staff in the front desk and also at the executive lounge, valet and restaurant. Speaking of the executive lounge wow wow wow they actually have amazing food here! I highly recommend anybody to stay here! I liked it so much that I stayed an additional night thanks to Zuzana in the front desk! I’ll be back for sure!!!
Rating: 7/10 Room: I've stayed here a couple of times in different room types. All have been nice, spacious, and clean. As of October 2024 there is construction work which is very noisy in some rooms so you may need to move if you get unlucky. Comfort: comfy bed and pillows, great blackout blind. Rooms are quiet enough. Amenities: Wifi is great, room service is very good especially breakfast. Location: great location in Southwark, short walk to interesting things and the Jubilee and national rail. Grocery stores right across the street. Price: on the pricey side for what you get but it's very central. Other: nice lobby and bar downstairs, never used the leisure facilities but they seemed nice.
