We had a really great stay at Green Apple - Adrian was an amazing host and let us check in early as we arrived very early morning and he happened to have a room spare. The en suite room was clean and homely, had a lovely shower too. Tea/coffee facilities were in the room and everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided. Lovely breakfast in the morning too. Bus stop right outside with buses taking you to St Ives and Penzance. Supermarkets are a short walk away and there are some cafes nearby too. Would recommend Green Apple to all! Walkability: You can walk from Green Apple to St Ives in about 25 mins and cut through Tregenna Castle Resort which is lovely to explore!
We have just spent a couple of days in this lovely place. The host was lovely, friendly & made us feel very welcome. The room was fab, comfy bed & very clean, plus it had everything we needed with complimentary toiletries, coffee, tea, milk, sugar etc. The views from the room was amazing, we could see over to Godrevy light house to Stives harbour. We will 100% be coming back ere again. Fab place, Fab host, perfect pics are from the bedroom windows Rooms: Perfect, clean, tidy had everything we needed, wifi, tv, kettle, ensuite, fresh towels & complimentary toiletries plus coffee tea etc. Walkability: Only a 10minute walk into Stives & a kiddies park across the road for those with small children. Food & drinks: Breakfast was very good with so much choice,
Friendly host with great advice for our travels. Large breakfast available, and comfortable rooms with good amenities.Rooms: 5/5
Excellent! We were very well received, the room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the shower had a strong, very good shower. Delicious breakfast and the attention and availability of the people who work at the hotel was fantastic. I recommend it and would come back more often. Rooms: Clean and comfortable Food & drinks: Delicious and variety
Lovely place with welcoming and accommodating owners. When we were leaving early they made breakfast available much earlier. That kindness was very appreciated. Excellent value, with accommodation for three adults in one room . A great place to sleep when you are filling your days with touring. Super breakfast room. If this place is available when you are looking consider it your lucky day.
1st floor front room good views, 10 min to the beach and walk trail. If you don't like the heights don't go on the trail. Most beautiful beaches in UK, I only seen sand like that on Mediterranean beaches. B&B has a playing ground cross the road, which make this a grate spot. Mini market near by, Tesco down the road. Makes sure you got the gas tank filled. The cornish pies are amazing, didn't miss any. Adrian and his brother nice chaps.
Took us in last minute at 11pm after our other booking somewhere else wasn’t available till the next day. Amazing rooms and very cozy. Lovely and forthcoming host. Breakfast was incredible! Pricing very much on point, too. very good value for money. Thanks again!Rooms: 5/5
Stayed here a while ago but at the time was unable to post a review through the relevant booking site. The place is ok. Clean and tidy with a nice, helpful host. The rooms were noisy however. Plumbing in our room and adjacent rooms in need of attention. With no aircon we had to leave windows open which meant unwelcome traffic noise. Breakfast was disappointing. Cold option only and rather basic. Overall not sure I would recommend at that price.
I have just had a lovely family holiday here with my Mum, Dad, Uncle & Auntie. It was our first time ever at Carbis Bay and I can honestly say for the 5 of us it was the best holiday ever, we absolutely love it here. We couldn't of had a better b&b to stay at then The Green Apple. It has everything you want, need and more for a b&b it was so lovely. The breakfast was lovely every morning, being disabled I had the bedroom down stairs which was perfect for me and what a bonus is you get the amazing sea view, we literally couldn't of wished for anything more. The owner Adrian was an absolute star he was friendly, helpful, funny, made us all very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. I love Carbis Bay, we only came home today and already I can say it's my favourite place on earth. We will definitely be coming back here again and stay at The Green Apple again in the future, hopefully it will be very soon and we are looking forward to it already!
Lovely fresh B&B and and really well priced for the area. The owner is a great guy, attentive but relaxed. Great, regular bus for £2 almost outside the hotel into St Ives, running till quite late. Enjoyed our stay.
