I booked in on the 23rd December room number 19 well for the money totally shocked what a terrible room. The rollor blinds didn't fit the windows open a draw the front fell off in my had. Overall the room was disgusting never stay there again

Had a Christmas lunch in the restaurant yesterday. Could not fault the friendly efficient service and the meal was superb with all the vegetables cooked perfectly. Most enjoyable

in the bar for a meal as its their dog friendly area, really good customer service by the lady with dark hair and glasses who was helping in the bar and kitchen, chef who knows his trade so a tasty cooked to order piping hot meal.  They also good on their allergens as lactose intolerant.

Very disappointing! I booked two nights. Having arrived and found the place so dated and in need of a refurb I would have checked out and booked another hotel if Cornwall wasn’t so busy. I found a pair of trousers in the wardrobe left from the previous guest, and rubbish under the bed and the counterpane was badly stained. I did complain and received a bottle of wine! No discount. Obviously the room hadn’t been cleaned or checked.  I couldn’t face breakfast as the smell downstairs in the bar area was not pleasant. The whole place needs a deep clean.

This pub deals drugs and homes herion addicts on a daily  basis  , me and my fiance was offerd.what they call a fix from behind the pub car park by a male called Irish Barry and Lewis the pubs landlords son
