Furniture Village High Wycombe

Great experience with furniture village in High Wycombe . Customer service was amazing . Stanley helped us chose our mattress he spent a lot of time going through basically the whole shop until we found what we wanted. All round can’t recommend him highly enough. Our Mattress was delivered quicker than expected and communication from the delivery drivers was great , they were very respectful taking their shoes off to take the mattress upstairs. The mattress we purchased was the Myers supreme comfort 1800 and it really is amazing. Overall 5 star service and will be using them again for any furniture in the future.

We had ordered an armchair to be delivered, there was an error in that the wrong item was ordered so also delivered. The delivery guy's went over and above to get the correct armchair. They phoned first thing to arrange delivery, and arrived on time but as the wrong armchair was on the lorry they had to track down the correct armchair which was in Slough, I am in High Wycombe. The guy's organised for the armchair to be brought from the Slough shop to the Wycombe shop and then delivered the correct chair, all this was done in an hour and a half!!!!!!! The delivery guy's were was very polite and very helpful I would recommend Furniture Village to everyone I know, you cannot fault them and we are very happy with the armchair too!!!! Thank you to you all.

Ordered a Simba mattress from here. The sales team are lovely, very polite and helpful. Can’t fault them. But whatever happens in the warehouse has put me off using these guys again. We didn’t want to pay £50 delivery so arranged to collect in store. 3 weeks later we hadn’t heard anything and these mattresses were on 7 day delivery. Someone in the warehouse had cancelled our order (despite us paying in full) and then re ordered it. The guy at the store said there must have been a fault with the product but the lack of communication was irritating. He arranged for us to have free delivery as a way of apology. We were lead to believe delivery included installation and removal of our old mattress only to have the new one delivered to the kitchen, just inside the door, and that was it. Turns out it would’ve been quicker and easier to have ordered it from John Lewis or to have gone direct to Simba. All in all I won’t be using Furniture Village again I’m afraid.

We were approached when entering by Stanley who left us to browse. He completed the sale very efficiently and courteously even when we change our mind on the material . The process was quick and we left very happy.

I took my elderly mother into this store in her wheelchair. She and my sister were put in the lift and sent up (by a rather bad tempered young man who moved a few chairs to get them in, and then disappeared) - luckily, I met them at the top. Upstairs the lift was blocked with boxes and furniture, there was no way they could have got round. No one came to clear or assist. I sent my sister and mother back down in the lift (I couldn't reach it to help them, luckily my sister is more on the ball with lift controls than my mother!). Then just walked out of the store - all the 'helpful' assistants had vanished. In other news, though, I can thoroughly recommend the furniture store nearby, she happily spent her £1,800 there instead. Wouldn't cross the threshold again. If you're disabled I recommend you don't either.
