After this lunchtime have lost all confidence in this place. Have been using it regularly once or twice a week recently having large Cod with chips each time. Happy to pay more here than nearby shops as fish has always been excellent and thick and flaky. Ordered same today and as usual had to wait for it to be cooked which is fine. On getting g home I found I had 2 very small pieces of fish, wafer thin. They didn't say when I ordered or packed it that they either didn't have or weren't going to cook large. Didn't taste anywhere near as good and I feel conned. Update:- I have now been back on several occasions and cab report that it has returned to 5* . Glad to say previous experience looks like a one off

Food was lovely. As a family of 5 we sat inside. Didn't expect to have to pay for each sachet of ketchup though - would expect that to be free if dining in.

Chips, perfect. Batter is equal to tempura in quality. Rock was excellent. One of the best chippies I have been in for years.
