Really good subway. Workers move quickly and effectively but they are still friendly. Food is better than average for a subway. I like to see that there aren't cameras watching the employees like in some subways. Not sure what the other reviews are coming from, great place.Food: 5/5
Can't rate the workers at this Subway enough, very respectful and thankful for the stock I delievered to them they offered both me and my drivers mate free cookies and a drink which was really appreciated. Obviously good staff run by good people.Food: 5/5
Subway's "Eat Fresh" slogan most definitely does not apply to Subway Saffron Walden. Don't eat here. Green mouldy bread, as green as their green sign. See for yourself Staff was not interested when trying to sort it out. **She Would Not Check The Other Bread For Mould** Be Warned ! ! ! She would not provide the managers details. Not sympathetic. A definite visit from the Uttlesford environment officer would be welcomed, although I wouldn't advise them to go for the foot long.
Got home and the sandwich had dirty in it and hair. I call to try and get this sorted and was told there is nothing they could do. I payed £18 for food that I was not able to eat. The person on the phone was not helpful. They wasn’t able to give me a mangers number. The store itself was dirty and the service was very rude. Big waste of money !

Worst subway ever, the guy was in a rush even though there was no que, least toppings I’ve ever had put on a sub, and he charged me extra for no reason and started talking gibberish, left this one for a while as had bad customer service and now this. Will just avoid this branch in futureFood: 1/5

There's 5 minutes of life lost. New staff member left on own run in entire store. Didn't know how to cut bread. Had to ask 5 times what I wanted. Couldn't apply discount from card. Quiet as a mouse. Left standing like a lemon. Classic large chain store service we come to expect.
This Subway is a dazzling pickle in an otherwise joyless salad of a high street. It's more than a subway, a tasty potato of hope among snacks. Doubly amazing at times, but mostly notable for its banality. Breathe life into my sandwich! Become one with cheese!
