Nice restaurant that serves great food in decent portions. The staff are polite and professional. It's also good for large groups. It's been around in the town for a while and has stood the test of time.
Having been recommended to eat here I had high expectations, however the experience didn't match the hype. We waited a while to be seated, we were then taken downstairs to a cold dingy cellar part of the restaurant. The seating worn and frayed, the decor very tired. We ordered our food, having arrived at 7.30pm, but our food didn't arrive until 8.50pm. The food was good, but not excellent. I appreciate the restaurant was busy, however I like to be given the choice as to whether I'm prepared to wait an hour and twenty minutes before getting my food. The waiters weren't often seen in that section of the restaurant, so the service sadly lacking. 4 stars for food 1 star for service 1 star for ambiance 2 stars overall
Went for a family birthday. Was able to cater for us all. Delicious food and quick service. Able to make many dishes vegan without any difficulty. Would go again Vegetarian options: There were veggie and vegan options Parking: There is an outside parking area which is the main parking area for saffron Walden. It said it was closed in the evening, so unsure if we could park there. However we did park there and it was therefore free. Only 5 minute walk from the restaurant Dietary restrictions: I am vegan and was able to eat there no problem
Excellent Service & Food for our group, restaurant was full which is testimony to its quality. Prices were reasonable, would highly recommend.
Best curry in town. Our absolute favourite place to eat. Be it with friends, family or just the two of us. The service is always over and above what you'd expect. Amazing food, and great atmosphere. Reasonably priced too. Would definitely recommend
Our first order, very disappointed. The food was barely warm , you can’t go wrong with a tikka starter but it was cold and dry. The chefs meat special was like a soup. Not impressed and won’t order again
Me and my friends went there for my birthday, good food, flawless service, best restaurant in Walden! Highly recommended!
Was mid at best, the naan was top tier and korma was acceptable or good at best, with healthy portion to price ratio it deserves three stars. My boys ordered the butter chicken and persistently complained about the sweetness of the meal. Although I cannot fault service or staff I will not be ordering the butter chicken again.
Delicious food. Chef made mangu lassi on request. They should put it on the menue. Worth every penny.
Simply great food, no pint elaborating really, but as good as Indian, I assume, food gets.
