Exceptionally good visit last night. Unfortunately the pub is closed for refurbishment - but will open later in 2024. Theatre was great. You will need to decant drinks into paper cups provided for free. This theatre gets very hot - T-shirt only needed due to lots of people in small space and show lighting etc. Comfy setting and lovely staff. A real London gem
Hadn't been to the Finborough for 8 years. Very pleased to find the seating had been upgraded, far more comfortable. The production of "The Tailor of Inverness" was absolutely gripping. Well worth a visit
Just saw the MOST amazing show at the @finborough theatre. BANGING DENMARK by Van Badham. Such incredible writing. It deserves to be seen by larger audiences. It has reinvigorated my feelings towards theatre which have been in decline. The cast really did a superb job! See it!
Wonderful theatre, wonderful play, wonderful acting! I loved the Silver Cord.
A great little fringe theatre with a long history and policy of presenting lost plays and new works.
Incredible theatre and actors! We loved everything about our evening and hope to return again soon - biggest recommendation
The theatre space is what you would expect - intimate and engaging. so good independent theatre BUT the reason for my lower rating is that this is not pub theatre. If you look on the Contact page you'll see that the pub downstairs is shut it may have re-opened as a restaurant since Pub theatre is special because you can relax in the bar until the play starts and take your drinks upstairs with you. And continue after the show! This isn't an option at the moment into the future?. The suggestion of bringing something from a local off-licence isn't really practical unless everyone wants to share the same thing. And drinks in another bar before or after isn't the same experience. There was absolutely nothing on offer in the theatre - not even a bar with limited options. I did let management know that this should be clearer when booking tickets and they did offer me an exchange which I couldn't use but I still don't see anything to clarify this on their site.
A well-established small theatre above a pub. I went there in January 2024 and the pub is closed for refurbishment, but you can buy drinks from the convenience store around the corner and the theatre provides glasses so that you can take them in. The auditorium has well banked seats, so everyone is pretty near the small stage and has a good view
This theatre is so special. It's a small space but really intimate, they are committed to unique theatre and reviving shows that haven't been showcased in London in a long time. The cast was brilliant. Thanks for having us.
Very cool theatre space. While it’s a massive shame that the accompanying pub is currently closed but is due to reopen, the theatre is very slickly run, and its intimate size means that you’ll have a good view wherever you sit but no reserved seating, so get there early!.
