I took public transit for what seemed like forever to get to the Royal Court Theatre, on the off-chance I could snag a ticket to the sold-out play, Giant. I didn’t get a ticket, but I learned how to get my name on a list if a single ticket came up and ….voila, a ticket for the following day’s matinee! Brilliant system! Well worth it play was marvellous. The staff is brilliant, and I think they serve the cheapest gin & tonic in London during the interval. So glad I got here!
Wonderful, atmospheric and historic theatre. Sat in the circle on the back row, excellent view of the performance. I watched Giant with John Lithgoe. One of the best plays I've ever seen, the acting was superb.
Beautiful old theatre. Pretty building. Nice bar area. Very luxurious seats. It's fairly compact, so great views from all seats. Watched Flo and Joan musical comedy. Very good show.
Brace Brace was a wonderful evening out. Arrive early enough to have a drink at the bar. If your ticket is for the upstairs theatre, line up when the doors open, as it’s free seating. Highly recommend the RCT. I was told you can’t go wrong at the RCT, and now I see why. Just go :
Amazing theatre seats are really comfortable for a theatre, is a off west end theatre but literally just outside Slough Square
Nice theatrical place, with the box office on the ground floor and the balcony and the stalls in the lower ground level... Warm place with a large bar to enjoy a drink before and after the performance...
I loved every minute of my visit. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The seats are larger than your average London theatre seats and very comfortable.
This is quite a small theatre. It isn't in the Theatreland area of London, but is easy to get to - Slone Square station is next to it and you can hear a faint rumble of the trains from the stalls. The bar area is quite big, and it has a small bookshop too.
5 blue stars review for Bluets An Uneek Amazing Experiance, Staring Ben Whishaw, this mix theatre, live cinema is A MUST SEE, FANTASTIC
A fully accessible theatre staging both classical and contemporary plays and events. On this occasion saw 'low tide' in the upstairs theatre and it was brilliant. Intimate, beautifully staged, powerfully acted. The bar downstairs offers a good range of drinks and food too. Right next to sloane Square tube station so very easy to get too.
