A great pub for real ale!! Also a good choice of lagars. Plenty of TVs for sport. Always a friendly atmosphere. Has a big beer garden so felt safe from covid during the summer.
Great beer and an all round great pub. How your local should be. 5 *****.
Lovely bar outside seating clean toilets and 6 real ales dog friendly and sports on TV
Good crack and good selection of craft beers excellent service
A rare thing in Ulverston - non Robinsons pub. A genuine free house with really good ales. Just a stretch of the legs from the Coronation Hall and well worth visiting.
Best kept beer you'll find ANYWHERE. Good range of sport on a few different screens, lovely staff, friendly locals and no argument with the prices. A bit more variety in terms of cask ale - not just Golden/Pale/Blonde - and it'd be 5 Stars all the way!
Great pub, good beer, cash only which is a bit 'before time'. Normally has a great range of beers, which are kept superbly. Mat pours a good pint with a consistent head. Needs better wines for those not on the ale, get a few bottles in and more people will come. Great proper pub, love it!
I have heard good things regarding the atmosphere and the real Ale. It did not disappoint, I was served by a young lady called Beth she is such a credit to your company my pint was perfectly pulled. Would I recommend YES.
Great ale selection. Lots of local beers and a great place to watch sports or join in with a darts match. You'll always find locals sat at the bar so no worries if you're flying solo
Always a great place for a pint and a great crowd for a chat. That pint is a terriffic quench thirster on a warm day like today. You have many pints to choice from. From mild to very hoppy and many in between. There is a drink for everyone.
