The reception guy was excellent and helped us get onto the tour even though we were a bit late. The tunnels themselves are quite interesting to experience. The guide's commentary was a bit difficult to follow as it was quite fast and had some assumed knowledge of the history of the area. Overall worth a visit.

Reception guy v helpful but fell apart after that. Tour guide was abrupt and aggressive and had foul breath. Not very good in a small space. Underground tunnels were interesting enough but we had problems recovering our bags from lockers as the next tour had started their video by the time ours ended and we had to wait and wait to get to the lockers. Female tour staff get a big thumbs down. Shame.

Interesting and different experience. Guide was knowledgeable and friendly with a nice little museum giving plenty of information.

Overall a pleasant enough experience, although the tour guide was rather obtuse. On commencement of the tour, she rather abruptly reprimanded a family at the back of the group for not acting fast enough upon her command to don a hard hat. The family were actually helping their children at the time. Then into the tour, she cornered a young gentleman with a scarf and in no uncertain terms, along the lines of a school mistress, demanded that he shouldn’t have worn said garment and that’s why it had become dirty. Quite a bossy person and overall made the experience like a school outing. I would return, but perhaps I would check first to see who is conducting the tour. You’d never get this sort of attitude in the Home Counties!
