Bow Aquatic & Garden Centre at Bow, Nr Crediton in Devon, is an aquatic haven set on a lovely large site with a gorgeous new Waterside Cafe, giant koi pond, and a kid’s pet’s corner with rabbits, guinea pigs & ducks. We have over 160 aquariums of Tropical, Marine & Indoor coldwater fish, with fresh stock arriving weekly, as well as invertebrates. Outside you will find over 20 koi & pond fish tanks, with 1000’s of pond fish, display ponds, working waterfalls & water features and one of the UK’s largest selections of bog plants, water lilies & pond plants! Our new Waterside Cafe serves home made breakfasts, cakes and lunches. It’s definitely worth a visit!

My sister visited your garden centre today, she is disabled and walks with a stick, she was looking to buy plants and TOMATO grow bag, after finding the grow bags she went to the till to buy the plants, she then asked at the till lady if somebody could help her with a grow bag, the lady said, NO WE ARE TOO BUSY, my sister then got in her car and was very very upset. DO YOU THINK YOU SHOULD TRAIN YOUR STAFF TO TREAT DISABLED AND ELDERLY PEOPLE WITH RESPECT AND SURLY BE HELPFUL

We went last weekend to get advice about a pond filtration system for a new duck pond. We were assisted by Rachel, who was very knowledgeable and absolutely fantastic! She went above and beyond giving excellent help and advice. Nothing was too much trouble, she showed us how the system worked and how to maintain it. Can't recommend highly enough!

Lovely cafe with great puddings. Fabulous that you have the choice of sitting indoors taking into account noise from the children’s indoor play area, outdoors in the open air or outdoors under cover. The cafe staff are friendly and helpful.  Unfortunately only two of the ten or so different plants I’ve bought from here on several separate occasions have flourished. In fact three of them have died and I’m going to dig another one up this spring thyme as three years after I bought it it’s still the same tiny size. I’ve bought many plants from other garden centres that have flourished. Bow Garden Centre do stock a good range of Taylor’s bulbs, which are thoroughly reliable, and a good range of premier seeds. I find it very useful that they have the ‘bulbs to plant now’ section at the entrance.

Disappointing today ordered our breakfast and waited 10mins only to find that the order even though repeated to me when delivered was incorrect. My toast for scrambled eggs was warm bread. Must try better this only stems from the top. Owners must take accountability there is no commodity in saying sorry

Enjoyed Another fantastic set menu today Easter 3 course having also enjoyed it on Mothers Day and at Christmas. The food is exceptional and the staff are all really friendly and welcoming. Cannot recommend enough

First time here. Was a nice little mooch around.  I am very impressed with the fish and also how the plants are labled alphabetically. Didn't try the restaurant, maybe next time.

I phoned to check availability of a particular water feature. I spoke to a v helpful guy and said I would buy and collect the following day, which I did. It was heavy and two lovely staff brought it to my car and loaded it into the car boot. The following day my landscapers were going to set it up. Unfortunately there was a crack on one element of the product. Another phone call which went well. A replacement wasn’t available but we agreed I would accept the part from the display water feature as this was the only timely way to set up the feature whilst my contractors were on site. I visited to do the swap and again encountered excellent customer service. I stayed for a coffee in the cafe and experienced the same level of excellent service. Well done everyone. You seem to be a well trained, knowledgeable and friendly team.

Absolutely brilliant!! The lady who dealt with us was so knowledgeable, courteous, and kind, nothing was too much trouble. The stocks of fish, tropical, marine and cold water was very extensive. Their tanks, lighting, and tank plants were second to none. The shop itself was very well stocked with a wide variety of gifts, all, reasonably priced. And then there was outside, there were far too many plants, flowers and shrubs to mention, the surroundings were very well set out, and everything, again was very reasonably priced. There was also a cafe there, but I did not get chance to visit, another day me thinks. All in all, what a place, I couldn't recommend it highly enough, I think I will be spending a lot more money here in the not to distant future.

Been here several times to purchase koi carp. Can't fault there service. Also has a great cafe called Waterside

Bow aquatics has moved about over the years and it makes sens for it to be in Bow now.  It has a huge selection of aquarium supplies and a good stock/ variety and of fish.  Great water features and good prices on garden furniture etc.   Best local aquarium sales for the Exeter area.
