Great day out! Nice sized aquarium with a vast variety of things to look at. Also a great cafe with a variety of hot and cold food available. We managed to catch the dive show where the presenter was great and very enthusiastic. I would like to see a bit more marine fish as this is my personal passion but they still had a good selection of clowns, puffers, lionfish and more to look at! Oh and the best bit, you pay once and can come back for a whole year!!

A fun day out for family members of all ages. We went during the Easter weekend, which was really busy, but we still managed to go round and see everything without too much trouble. Some of the displays were closed and there's a new display being built - I look forward to seeing the end results. It's great that the tickets allow you to return again as many times as you like during the year too!

A relaxing day out unless its a school or bank holiday when it can be very busy and noisy. Lots of good opportunities for photos but make sure your flash is off. There is a cafe for a pit stop which also has a play area for younger children and if the weather is nice you could have a picnic outside with views of the harbour. Be careful if parking in the nearby multi story car park as people have been fined even though they've paid for parking. Either take a photo of your parking ticket, keep it or pay by card so you have proof of payment.

This place is very informative with lots of guides placed around if you have any questions and once you have paid once you are able to get return tickets for a year at no extra cost so even on holiday you could visit lots of times in week. Children love to walk through the glass tunnel and over the glass floor and the displays are excellent. The only fault is the parking. The multi story next door we found was £4.95 for three hours, which if this was refunded of the entrance fee would be OK but as it is almost £20. to get in this makes it an expensive visit which could last up to four hours if you so felt the need, personally three hours was enough.

My son thoroughly enjoyed the visit. There's a good variety of tanks, including a walkway under / over the shark tank. Two areas would improve: some tanks were not labelled, and the restaurant is both poor and overpriced. A shame when everything else, especially the speakers, is so strong.
