Good range of food accessories and items for sale. However I hate the way the birds are kept. Large macaws and parrots kept in restrictive cages. Small birds kept in metal boxes with no natural light. The person who runs this shop has been keeping birds like this for years on end. I feel very sorry for them especially the bigger birds. The animals are expensive too, I wanted to 'rescue' a pair of budgies but for £50 a pair I will be going straight to be breeder instead. The cockateils look miserable and their feathers are in a bad way. It's like a prison for animals. Hate the place.

The people running this shop have always been pleasant and helpful to me. I find there's a wide range of products and the staff are very knowledgeable about their products and pet care in general. It's an independent shop and as such I hope it will thrive for a long time to come. I've a feeling that the less favourable remarks come from someone with a grudge.

This pet shop is absolutely awful and has been awful for years. I have no idea why it's still open. The fish are inn a dreadful state, their tanks are so filthy that you can barely see them, a lot of them are sick or deformed. They are completely neglected. They have rabbits housed with guinea pigs....which for any pet specialist..they should know that is wrong as rabbits can badly injure guinea pigs. They have poor food and live in filthy conditions with very dirty water bottles. Don't get me started on the birds.... This shop should have been shut down years ago.

This shop is clearly tight on paying out on money and clearly out for making money . Staff rude and not welcoming . This shop is awful. Needs a good refurbishment. Animals are kept in dull environment. Pet food and toys overpriced. Compared to all the other shops in Exeter this one is the worst. I mean how much is a few cans of paint to make the shop look brighter and for the animals not to be looked so dull in how there kept.parrots are kept in small cages and the cages need a good varnish as clearly they are old as hell. I mean why even put screeching parrots near hamsters so

I walked past this place some years ago and the guy standing in the doorway looked daggers at me as if he was low life. Most reviews here seem to underpin that impression and if the animals in their care are being trafficked and/or abused, then it's a matter for the authorities. I hope they are made aware.
