I have just bought a second hand mini from Evans Halshaw and I am very happy. Paul provided excellent customer service from my initial enquiry right through to me driving the car away. He communicated clearly, provided pros and cons of alternative services available. His attention to detail before releasing the car to me showed a very professional service. I will recommend the dealership and Paul.
Took our car in for a major service and MOT i was greated by Debbie and she went through what it was booked in for. The inspection report i thought was brilliant as it is streamed to you so you can see what work is required and you have the abilty to choose what work to be done. The car had gone in on a special offer run at the time on Petrol Prices / Book my garage major service and MOT £279. Very polite and helpful staff easy to find and yes will be using them again. Thank you Debbie and Tech Jordan for a pleasurable experiance.
Really good service. The show room was packed but the workers still made us feel welcome and was honest about our wait. They did everything to help me get sorted as quick as possible as I needed a car quickly. Krystian, who helped me get everything sorted was especially helpful and made the whole process easy to understand and got the deal done. I'll recommend Evans Halshaw to anyone who is looking for a car and I'll definitely be using them to get my next car.
Absolutely incredible service. Firstly Debbie has helped me so much over the years with my corsa, always so welcoming, friendly and very quick service. Debbie is an absolute credit to the business. Also today a massive thanks to Naz on my way home from work my computer system in my car froze whilst i was on a call, the most random screaming high pitched noise, i had no idea what to do! The sound didn't stop when engine was off... complete panic at 4.45pm. Straight to the garage, I was listened to and helped straight way. They were able to reset my system and stop the noise. I was so grateful. I can't thank you enough. I will be back to purchase my next car very soon! Highly recommended.
I purchased a 10-year-old BMW 640d from this dealership with the expectation that all faults would be accurately disclosed and that any problems arising shortly after purchase would be handled professionally. Unfortunately, this has not been my experience.nnWithin the first week of ownership, I reported several issues:n• Smoke coming into cabin from engine bay turned out to be rocker cover and gasketn• High-speed wheel wobble above 65mphn• Suspension creaking when driving over speed bumpsn• Driver’s window sticking when raising then dropping back downnnThe car was taken back to dealership to have their mechanics work on the faults. The car was gone for 2 weeks, yet on its return only the only leak from the gasket was rectified. The service department said they weren’t made aware of the other issues despite multiple emails to the ‘Used Car Sales Leader’.nnThe vehicle was the. taken to an independent garage recommended by the dealership. Although they could not replicate the issues on the day due to weather conditions, those issues still remain and I have video evidence showing the faults clearly.nnI have had to repeatedly chase the dealership for meaningful support, and despite presenting reasonable information, I was told there was “nothing more they could do” and offered only a trade price buy-back rather than a proper resolution. This is not an acceptable response given that the issues were raised immediately after purchase.nnCommunication has been slow and I’ve had to push hard for any form of assistance. I’m now forced to take the car elsewhere for further diagnosis purely to prove the faults exist, even though I reported them promptly and reasonably.nnOverall, I expected significantly better aftersales support and customer care. I leave this review so others are aware that although the vehicles may look great on the surface, aftersales support may be very limited if problems arise.
