Been a member of over 20 gyms in my time. This one is great, despite its premium price. About 7 or 8 of each of the standard cardio machines, 4 bench presses, dumbells up to way heavier than I can lift. 3 stretching areas, lots of gym machines and a sort of climbing frame thing if you like doing weird stuff. On top of that you get access to the pool and there's also a sauna and sun bed available. Its never usually that busy when I go at 4/6

Top gym, top staff and some really great members.  Well used but stuff is replaced when needed. Recommended.

Being in Edinburgh Park the prices are made for the well-earning business people. The gym itself is not that big neither, it is rather geared towards cardio, most of the machines being jogging pads, elliptical machines and bicycles. You also need to bring you own lock to keep your stuff safe in the locker room.

Joined in June 2013, was a good gym in terms of equipment and facilities. When I came to try and terminate my membership I was faced with appalling customer service by the manager (Chris Wark) For 4 years 6 months I paid a supplementary payment on top of the membership for the advantage of being able to terminate my contract at anytime, however this wasn’t to be the case and I was threatened with legal action when I disputed having to pay an additional months membership. If in the future I am to rejoin a gym it won’t be with energize, nor would I now recommend to family or friends. Extremely disappointed!!

I used to go quite frequent for about a year but at some point they started to have lots of toddler and kid swimming classes which left only two lines for other people to swim and everyone had to deal with kid noises and children songs. 
It got to the point that 7 people used two lines and literally every day I went, the classes were on so I decided that £35 is way too much and just buggered off. 
Was mostly clean but definitely looks a little older when it comes to facilities.
Also my login didn't work anymore which resulted in me having to go there to cancel my membership and the receptionist couldn't find my name in the system but said I would receive a confirmation mail at some point, which I still haven't received.

Probably a good gym if you work or live close and are ok with the price. Maybe not to recommend for swimming in the morning.
