Location and gym is OK - busy around prime time and not enough space. Repair time for equipment is sub par. DO NOT USE VENDING MACHINES. Vending machines frequently fail to dispense... spoken to several staff members in reference, who make note, but aren’t equipped to issue refunds. Waiting 2+ weeks for a £3.50 refund is completely unacceptable. PureGym is like the AirBnB - value oriented and great when everything works. However, if there’s an issue and you need a to speak with someone who can help, good luck.

I've recently joined this gym and can honestly say it is excellent. It's always clean with great facilities. I'd highly recommend it.

I like this gym. I'm enjoying the classes and I feel like the trainers are interested in making sure you do the exercises correctly and get the best out of the class without injuring yourself. The only downside is the parking, but then it is in the centre of Edinburgh, so what can you expect. Looking forward to Fort Kinnaird opening as it will be more convenient for me to travel to and park at.

I like puregym for being inexpensive and a good value for money due to that fact. I am not sure if it is big enough for the central location though, I've only been to this one during the holidays or weekends and there was plenty of space, but I can see it being way too busy on school nights.

A gym that won't cost you a fortune but has what's needed. Nothing fancy like free towels or endless classes. It has an extensive weight section, treadmills, ergs, steppers, stationary bikes, power plates, spin area and a separate room for classes. It has gyms across the country and you can set a second gym as a favourite as well as using their other gyms. You can also easily pause your membership. And when I signed up there was no fixed contract period or exit fee. It has what I want!
