Large gym with modern equipment. Excellent value for money. 

Bring or buy your towel and padlock like most places. Vending machines on site for water, juices, pre and post workout etc.

Changing rooms well kept and machines are always clean. Staff on hand for any questions, complaints, advice.

Machines and free weights can be busy at peak times but that's just how it is. Very quiet in evenings and to the best of my knowledge - early mornings. Weekends considerably quieter too.

Lots of classes available, plenty free ones for those just started.

I used to do my workouts at PureGym Edinburgh Quartermile but prefer this gym by far. Great place to get in shape or gain extra strength.

Pros : Cheap, walkable distance from home

Cons : Because of the 3 floors, it's hard to follow a circuit programme or superset exercises together, this might be solved by rearranging the machines and weights but I think that's going to cause other problems.

Verdict: I would recommend other PureGym locations like Ocean Terminal if you're going to do supersets or circuits.

Affordable place, good classes, but if you want to take a shower afterwards please be aware, they are not the best.

Great gym, has everything you need to do a workout. Also plenty classes to choose from and all at a great price.
