Avoid this walk in clinic if you can help it. My father was misdiagnosed and given antibiotics for something that needed more urgent attention. He had to end up going back to the GP in the end and getting the correct treatment. Not impressed, time wasting and extremely incompetent on the part of the doctors working in this clinic. Not going there again.

Was seen for triage within 10 mins and saw a doctor within an hour. The receptionists went very friendly but its a tough job dealing with us public in that kind of place. Place was clean with plenty of parking which wasn't overpriced. Overall I was really pleased with the service, would go again if I had the need to.

I was suffering from abdominal pain since 2 days so I decided to go to the walk in centre. I've been there for literally 30mins! The reception staff was friendly but the nurse who has seen me for the assessment had an attitude. She has spent 2 mins with me. She said that there was nothing they could do for me. She has also told me that only if I'm rolling on the floor and can't move from the pain then I should call an ambulance and get checked in a hospital! Who says that to someone who suffering from abdominal pain since days?! How mean can someone be? Your irritated behaviour didn't help me. Very unprofessional.

No matter how many people in the waiting room it's still showing 3-4 hours waiting time.

I visited the place on Saturday, because after breaking ligaments in my right shoulder, I didn't give it enough time to heal and I began noticing a constant aching pain in same place. I inspected and found a bone to be dislodged and sticking upwards, but I was unable to attend a hospital for 6 weeks, although the pain was non stop and it reduced how much force I could use with this arm and hand! I explained all of the above to a nurse, who ignored all I had said and said it was unlikely my condition was serious and therefore didn't require an x-ray, so I explained that a bone was sticking up! Next I saw an equally incompetent man, who examined me; said the bone was slightly out of place; didn't see it as a problem and his opinion was that I required rest and to be referred from my G.P. I asked him if he was qualified to judge my condition and he said no; I told me that If I went back to Barnet, they'd give me the treatment I needed and he said that they might, so I felt I was talking to an imbecile from outside somewhere. He then admitted that they didn't have no doctors there and refused to give me an x-ray, so literally refused me treatment. He wasn't interested and while looking at my previous x-ray, taken at Barnet and after I had explained my current condition, he said: "I think you broke your ligaments from doing heavy lifting". I had explained to both him and the previous nurse that I had done that in an un-related accident, so what a waste of a few hours and they clearly didn't want to treat me for some reason, although I work to pay taxes! He then sad he would have helped if my condition was an acute injury; meaning, it had occurred recently, so is that how we are judged today by the NHS? This man admitted he wasn't qualified and they had no specialist arm doctor there- or so he said -but was happy to tell me to give it time and rest and the bone may never go back in place. I'm in pain each day with it, but get on with life and have to work and mostly too tired to attend a hospital. When I did, I seemed to be speaking to people who had no skills whatsoever, but were on hand to assess conditions of patience who generally had problems which required quite urgent treatment. I'm glad that I wasn't having an heart attack!
