I was sectioned in 2002 and quite rightly so. I had been diagnosed with bi- polar. They reckoned I had this disability since I was 12 or so . I am now 55. All my life I had been fighting and running and ordered to see and do thing's regarding mental health. In the younger day's I supposed I was considered unruly and disruptive...misunderstood I think. Moving on to the beginning of covid I slipped the net regarding my home visits for the depot injection which was once a month abilify.best medication for me no side affects. Which i had to fight for but that's another story. Anyway like I said I slipped through the net. .So I. went to them. After being told I was back on the system I developed pynomia. Overall I was in hospital for a month. 11 litres drained out of my lung. When i was discharged and went home I was made homeless .so now I'm sleeping in Morrison's car park. Dire straits right. So again i went to Dennis Scott this time for the first time i asked them for help. I could not get past reception regarding my medication and help regarding homeless. The reply I got was "since you have chosen to disengage with us we no longer can help you". I'm going to stop here.. before i go who's mad know what a fob off.
Receptionist staff are awful, rude, unfriendly, just Dam right horrible. HORRIBLE is the best way I think I can describe them in particular some woman there Sharon . I went in there crying very distraught & instead of saying something like it’s ok , calm down would you like a drink or anything, , we are going to try and help you “.if I remember right as a long time ago she said something like “ Go and take a seat “. This is terrible personal skills especially dealing with people who are vulnerable, in distress . . The receptionists bring shame they don’t make it a comfortable experience, only a tense , negative one .The psychiatrist there was very good , understanding and thorough very nice man .
Horrible. Was sectioned here for a couple weeks and it was a terrible experience. Rude staff that would blank you when talking to them. Delusional psychiatrist thinks his magic pills help. This place made me worse. The mental health system in this country is a discrase.
Horrible treatment of patients, some evil treatment. Staff very rude and unprofessional. Facilities do not work. Did not allow me to take pictures they actually used the fact I took pictures to force treatment . Definitely traumatic experience. Broke my prada bag and stole my keys and scissors . Never gave them back and refuse to answer the phone or door
USELESS! Voluntary staff who rarely turn up for meetings and now the service has gone!! poor service with no help available for drug addicts in this area! This service seriously needs to be improved!
All they care about is prescribing their magical pills, it's their first and last solution to everything. They don't care how dangerous those drugs are, the long term effects, they just want an easy solution. That's why there are so many patients walking around the building like zombies, barely functioning anymore.
Poor communication between staff. Staff are unhelpful and fail to communicate with us as to treatment of an impatient. Staff make us feel that we are stupid and asking stupid questions! And wasting there time! Even tho I have full consent each staff reply by saying I need consent! They fail to respond to questions I have asked even tho consent given witness by staff!! Surely staff ain’t that stupid ?? I appreciate that staff have heavy workload and stressful however my main concern is the patient and will try do the best to ensure his mental health and addiction is looked after .
Very demanding and unprofessional stuff works here. They like to bully Clients and take a piss on them for no reason. They put Clients down and threat them without respect. Very low IQ level employees have in these premises Mr. Aleksandrs Bickovs
I am absolutely shocked how appauling this place treats its patience ' from Annet head nurse in Thames Ward to everyone below. Literally providing coercive mistreatment, neglection, abusive and a place that needs a full infection based on patience deprivation of human rights. The management ignore serious concerns to the detriment of patients, from calls, emails to personal visits who are advocating for their relative and still being neglected from treatment which still has not been addressed. Ontop responses to patience is aggressive and patronising and left them with more trauma. This place should be under investigation with Employees from top to bottom to loose their NHS Licence.
From Mary Jordan. For Trent Ward reviews. I wish to thank all staff members for their unfailing kindness and support to my sister who was admitted in September this year after having suffered an unprecedented trauma. The staff who were assigned to my sister 24/7 were simply amazing. Never to be forgotten. They represent our NHS at it’s best. I cannot thank them enough. Truely wonderful professionals. Thank you Mary Jordan
