I am writing to express my deep concern and dissatisfaction about the behavior of one of your nurses at Watling Surgery in Burntoak. I visited the surgery earlier today, and the nurse who attended to me was extremely rude and unprofessional. The nurse's attitude was dismissive, and she seemed impatient and unwilling to listen to my concerns. When I asked her a few questions about the situation, she snapped and raised her voice at me and made me feel like I was wasting her time. Her tone of voice was condescending, and she did not show any empathy or understanding towards the situation. I found this experience very distressing and feel that it is unacceptable for a healthcare professional to treat patients in this manner. As a patient, I expect to be treated with respect and dignity, and I believe that the behavior of this nurse fell far short of these expectations.
Very very rude receptionist no people's skills what's so ever . People don't book appointments for fun it's unfortunate thing that we get ill and have to see a doctor. But what makes it worse is when you have to deal with rude staff. And this isn't the first time I was spoken to like that. If a manager actually looks at these comments should train there staff how to talk .
The receptionist is so rude Everytime I call in to ask for an appointment. I try my best not to call them I call 111 instead but always get directed to contact my GP and the receptionist just has a horrid attitude. The last time I called for an allergy test for my son she said ‘well if you think he’s allergic to something you’d be better off calling the hospital’ but the GP is always the first point of contact that’s suggested when I speak to 11 or hospital staff.
Always very helpful on the phone and in person. Much better than previous GP surgeries I have been to in London. Very swift to get my COVID-19 gabs. The doctor took their time at the end of the day during my appointment to explain about the jab and put my mind at ease. Well recommended.
Fantastic experience at Watling Medical Centre today whilst receiving my first covid vaccine. It was extremely well organised. I didn't have to wait too long. Although there were other people waiting, the doctor spent plenty of time explaining the procedure. Thank you! You are doing an amazing job!
I had the Covid Vaccine this morning I am an NHS key worker at Watling Medical Centre. From initially booking the appointment to attending this extremely well organised clinic, everything was excellent. Staff are charming and lovely and I didn’t feel at risk of catching Covid or pressured time wise at all. The waiting room is extremely well labelled to keep 2 metres apart and staff guide you where to go at all times. The doctor explained everything very clearly and was a truly lovely, kind person. I would highly recommend this practice. I couldn’t be more pleased.
Janet and Ruth, or whatever the names of these receptionists are, are just horrible at what they do. You need an appointment, no matter if it's urgent or just a check-in? You will be greeted with an extremely rude attitude and mumbling throughout the entire call. Not even a slight hint of understanding, compassion or helpfulness in these two characters. Simply unbelievable how such people are working at a place where you MUST be understanding. The other reviews here only adds to what I have to say - the service is horrible, the doctors are great. To management, it's time to either train your receptionist to be more human or let them go.
Went yesterday for my covid vaccination and was amazed at how well it was all organised. Good social distancing throughout and process was done pretty quickly, but not rushed at all. People at the entrance and reception were friendly and thorough in checking details. Dr Shah was very good with my mother and I with giving the vaccination. He kept us feeling calm and explained everything very well. I am generally scared of injections but this was done so well with no pain at all. The ladies that were helping at the 15mins after vaccination station were friendly and kept a good conversation with all. It was freezing and yet they stayed positive and happy, well done to you all. Hopefully shall be back there for my 2nd vaccination too. I would like to thank Neema Shah for helping to organise this for myself and a few of my colleagues, we are Optometrists and health care key workers who are patient facing all day. Thank you to the whole team.
I had a lovely experience at Watling medical centre when I went there to get my COVID vaccine. The staff and doctors were very kind, answered all my queries and put me at ease. As told I had flue like symptoms and pain in my arm. It’s been the 2nd day after the jab and these symptoms are reducing. I am thankful to the wonderful staff and the doctors for their brave and courageous effort.
Very kind Doctors so pleased with their service. Thank you.
