The Bacon Lane Surgery

The family has been with this surgery for over 30 years and we have always found all the doctors to be very good. We have not had problems getting appointments. If possibly urgent there has always been a fast response.

I came here to have stitches removed after surgery, I then had to return a week later as there was a stitch left in the surgical site, I then had to return again as my physio noticed that there was another stitch left in..when I returned to have the final stitch taken out the nurse was not helpful did not have the right equipment to take it out..her exact words were "what do you want me to do about it" Well I asked her again just to take it out as it was now infected..she said just to leave it in there and it would come out itself? Evidently it didn't come out itself and I had to have my surgeon re-open the surgical site to remove it. Awful service the nurse in question is not nice and clearly cannot do her job. Will be raising a formal complaint

Rude, uncooperative staff. Outrageous prices for Doctors letters. Completely unorganised, avoid avoid avoid!
