Taxi booked for 4:15 on 3/6 to go to airport. Driver arrived 5 minutes early. Very friendly and helpful, cab was clean and driver gave us the option of local route or motorway. When I phoned phone answered promptly and politely. Happy to recommend.
Last weekend Booked 3 taxis to venue for party… Only 2 turned up… One had to do two runs meaning some of our guests were almost an hour late. Booked 4 for return journey… still waiting for the 4th!! Quoted £20 per cab each way… a few were charged just under £20 but rest charged £26…. All for exactly same pick ups and drop offs…. Doesn’t fill you with confidence
Booked taxi for my wife on the app at 9.30 for a midnight pick-up. Booking was confirmed. Was contacted by an obnoxious individual at 11.30 who blamed me for not calling them directly instead of using their app!. He suggested I should try elsewhere - it is 11.30 on a Saturday! Really poor service
We called early hours of 10th July to get a price from Glasgow Airport to east kilbride was quoted £32/£35 including pick up charge was taken through castlemilk rather than the motorway said this was the cheapest route which I believed was a bit far fetched however as we had been travelling since 18.00 previous day we never questioned it but I was totally shocked when the driver asked us for £46.80 but as I said we'd been travelling 8 hours and just wanted to sleep it's the dearest cab I've ever had from or to Glasgow Airport so will never use this company again as when you get a price you don't expect to pay over £12 more
Had to tell them repeated times where my location was and they still got it wrong. Rude women on the call centre. Driver could barely speak English. Finally turned up about 15 minutes after their call telling me he'd arrived. I have deleted their no.from my Contacts list.Incompetent and rude.
Driver refused to go for 20 minutes after we had asked her to go multiple times. she then dramatically pulled over saying “turn that off that’s against the law” when my phone was in my pocket and it’s not against the law she then refused to drop me at designated spot and said “i don’t care i’m not at school” eastwood mearns has lost a customer in me for her horrific attitude
Ordered a taxi from the app from garys food and wine, the app put the stores address in and the driver went the wrong way. I phoned to let them know where I was and the woman on the phone blamed me and gave me into trouble, the driver then came and started getting angry at me, saying I wasted his time, He said "do you even know how to work an app" "you've wasted my time" "do you even know where you live?" And then questioned my mobility aids and my age. Left the car nearly in tears. Won't be using again, I do not pay for a service to be berated for a mistake with your app Update: I have now been refunded for the journey and the taxi driver has been banned from attending the address by the compang
Booked a taxi for a set time hours in advance, taxi was 15 mins late, when I called to ask where it was the response was it’ll be there soon and then I was hung up on. The taxi was then dispatched 20mins after the booking was due to arrive. Missed my appointment
Shocking. Car booked from Barrhead to airport on app for 4.30am. Booking confirmed and money taken from my account. At specified time no driver allocated and call to office cannot give a time when one might be available. You’d think a taxi company would know airport runs are time critical. Fortunately managed to find a lift otherwise I guess we’d be in the long term car park and asking for the costs back. Utter shambles.
Before i got in taxi i asked if icould pay bu card. Taxi driver didnt understand me. Taxi driver could only speak broken English. I asked him to put in my post code. He tried to do it whilst driving. He was all over the road. I asked him to drop car and do it. He refused until I started shouting at him. He then said company hadn't given him postcode and he wasn't putting it in his phone. He tried to drive me to Glasgow. I had to shout at him to stop. He was going the wrong way. I told him yo put in my post code. He again refused. He phoned the office who had My addeess but hadn't passed it to driver. I had to give my postcode over phone again before driver would move. What a carry on. Why can't Mearns taxis employ people that can understand and speak English to an acceptable level? The driver was stinking of BO. won't be using Mearns taxis again unless I really have to. I was given a tour of East Kilbride Murray on way home. He should have gone straight onto ek expressway from Busby. Talk about write your own cheque.... ...disgusting. they had a good job without trying to make more money out of me.
