This is a dreadful company. I used them last year after arriving back at Glasgow Airport in the middle of the night. They have me a price which then had an extra £2/3 added when we arrived at our destination. I rang the company the next morning but they were uninterested and claimed the price was just rough. I live in England and the price quoted is what you pay. Foolishly, we used it again this year after arriving back from Turkey. We were told a car would be there shortly and it would be £8/9. 28 minutes later I rang again to be told it was on it's way.... It took 40 minutes to come from Hillington to the airport and then they charged me £11.50!!!! I think they're a rude, unprofessional company who are scamming customers, especially people coming from the airport! Definitely won't ever use them again. I'd rather walk back.
Absolutely shocking. Booked a taxi 1 hour in advance. 'No issues'. Family was left in the snow and ice for 40 minutes after the agreed time and still no one turned up..... it was also an airport run so has made our start to our holiday rubbish and rushed. They never actually allocated a driver to the job and as a result, when we were due to be picked up.... nothing. Also lied twice on the phone to say that the driver was only moments away. Useless!
Absolutely the rudest person I have spoken to on the phone ever. I call to book a taxi for 8am the next morning, apparently that cant be done. Tried to ask what time they start and just got hung up on. Got the missus to call 1 minute later and 8am is absolutely doable however our street doesnt exist and to check the address. Give these clowns a miss and give your business to someone who deserves it.
Disgrace of a service !! Phones taxi , got a text & withing literally 10 seconds the car had drive away ... Have the text to show with registration . Called back to tell woman & was totally dismissed & send another one with be there soon . next one come same defo plate but also happens again considering I was lurked waiting In the rain & also hurricane Desmond unfortunitly . Phoned back & third car was sent this time a dif one & actually arrived by suprise .. Lost a few costumers there due to the total ignorance of your call handlers & also the driver you have
from moving to scotland from northern ireland a friend gave me the taxi number. have used the company couple of time so great. untill the 6th June when I wanted to go to the Arena at breahead and the taxi man didn't have a clue where he was to drop me and I never been to the arena before he just dump me at breahead shops as the traffic was bad. I had to call my friend and explain what happened and also she had to give me directions to were we where to go. In the end I was at one side of the place and had to walk the hole way round to the other side of breahead to get to the arena and charge me £7.20 for it. I will still use the company but in future I will ask the people on the phone if the taxis know where it is in case am on my own next time and as don't know any other taxi numbers.
I have used this cab company several times over the past 5-6 months. The service I get is generally the same. I speak to someone horrible on the phone, and when I ring back to ask how long it'll take its another horrible tone I get. Often, the taxi smells rotten and turns up late. I would not recommend this taxi company
50/50 Cabs is a fitting name for this service. There is a 50/50 chance they will get your address correct after repeating it over and over to them - and there is a 50/50 chance they will even show up if they do get it correct. Not the fault of the Taxi drivers, but the complete retards that run the phones.
Pre booked a taxi and it still turned up 20 mins late going to the airport. Good job I left loads of time to spare or I would have had issues. Won't use again.
Horrible, rude woman answered the phone. I gave her the road name and office but because i didn't know the "area of Glasgow" I was in she wouldn't help and hung-up on me. WOW - amazing way to run a business
