This place is a joke it doesn't even deserve 1 star the staff are rude they are not looking after my hubby right and not telling him whats wrong with him there just fobbing him off. Saying one thing and doing another and its stressing my hubby out.

My son was incarcerated in the Wyke institution, supposedly for his own protection, the place is run like a prison, infact prisoners have more rights, you are supervised on visits, you only have a hour to see your family member and you have to book your appointment to see you, re own family

My father is currently in Cygnet Hospital Wyke & they have gave him the wrong injection that made him shake alot & very tired in which they had to change from getting wrong & don't keep me updated in which i have asked them too with me being my fathers Next Of Kin & some of the staff are very rude over the phone!

I have applied for the position of mental health support worker. I was succesful on my interview. Th strange thing was that my contract presented position of health care assistant. I can say more, after interview I was told  the duties of mental health support worker but due to my sitution, accepted HCA position. They got my positive references from previous work, I recieved dbs and what happened next... Silent, the company did not sent any emals nor make a call contact so I tried to do it for last 3 weeks.They do not respond for messages  through email and when I want to spek with the manager, she is always unavailable. Why... She did not want to tell me that they decided with no reason and without telling me that they do not need me no more. Very unprofessional company without respect. Do not work for them, not recommended!!!

May I say a big thank you to all the ward staff and Consultants on Austen and Branwell wards for the care you gave to my son, the time he spent with you worked wonders, the reason being you listened to him and let him be part of his care plan, you trusted him and more importantly he trusted you,  hope his progress at the next unit is half as good thanks again, It would not be right to name staff but the Consultant and Doctors didnt hold court they had an air of normality at meetings which allowed my son to be himself and take part well done all
