I can only speak highly from my experience of this hospital. The staff, particularly on Blossom Ward, are absolutely amazing. They changed the life of a struggling close family member and I am so thankful to them for their care and understanding. I couldn't have wished for a better place for my loved one to be treated. Thank you xx
Foods ok. Staff behaviour unacceptable and unforgivable. Injected me multiple times against my will, one member of staff used to threaten us if we don’t “shut up” he’ll inject us. Very small facility especially for a long stay. Had severe physical response to injections. No empathy. Evil.
Cygnet Bierley completely changed my life . Blossom ward took me at my worst and transformed me back into a functioning human in just 8 short weeks. Staff throughout the hospital were friendly and caring . You can tell they genuinely care and love their job . I cannot say 1 bad thing about any of them. They supported me through my worst moments . They sat, listened and helped me find new healthy coping strategies. I had heard so many bad things about going into hospital, especially if being treated for EUPD but this hospital completely smashed all them bad things out of the water. Yes , there was hard times as there is always going to be when dealing with mental health but the patience that safe show is unbelievable.nNot only did staff help and support me but they also supported my parents to understand more about my condition and to help them when they were struggling with the fact I was in hospital.nFrom the moment I got to the hospital I felt supported and cared for , staff put my racing mind at ease and where able to make me smile even at my lowest point.nI cannot recommend this hospital enough.nStaff from the management team down to housekeeping and everyone in between , thank you so much for all your support and help . You really have changed my life For the better !!!
Most patients are afraid of leaving a true review which would be bad for Cygnet hospital as there will be punishments for every individual doing so
This is by far the worst hospital I have ever been to, I still have bad memories about this place and it has been a few years since ive been here. I found the staff utterly unprofessional and very childish. There was a lot of bullying from the staff. The whole time I was there I felt isolated and it shredded and destroyed every bit of confidents I had. This place was hell to me. I hope it shuts down one day.
