I booked this place as a gorgeous looking Italian restaurant to surprise my girlfriend for her birthday and I was not disappointed! The decor of the place was absolutely stunning and lively and we sat in a lovely corner of the restaurant overlooking all of the sights from where we were sitting. We started off with the calamari, crispy and delicious, served with a beautiful tatar that looked homemade, we were pleasantly surprised as it exceeded our expectations. My partner and I love seafood and we were absolutely blown away by the sheer quality, presentation, temperature and taste of the meals we ordered. They tasted fresh and the flavour really set us up for an evening around Birmingham. It's an absolutely fantastic place to eat, would most definitely recommend it to anyone! But also, definitely book your table! As it does get quite busy and lively.
We booked a table for 6pm on a Saturday. The service and food were I ordered an 8oz steak medium rare I must mention that I was VERY pleased with the service the staff provided. I had a question about one of the options on the dessert menu & the waiter bought me a sample to help me make my decision. I would definitely come back here, there is a decent crowd here & good people other customers

Atmospheric and elegant Italian restaurant. The food was authentic and really took us back to Italy! We really enjoyed the range of the options in the menu. Perhaps understandably due to it being Valentine’s Day when we went, the service did feel quite rushed. Regardless, staff were friendly and we would recommend this lovely restaurant!
My father and I had wanted to go here for ages and safe to say it was worth the wait. The ambiance even on a Monday lunchtime was lovely, server was attentive, food was first class and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Would recommend thanks Cucina RusticaFood: 5/5
Lovely restaurant food was delicious and came out fast only problem I had to send my muscles back to be reheated my food could have been hotter...apart from that I thoroughly enjoyed itFood: 5/5
Great food, good portions, nice wine, can't fault. Antipasto was a great starter though I'm sure the majority of it was turkey ham. I was sat by the fireplace and kept hitting my head against the leaves of the plastic plant, and the table is VERY small, especially for the pizza plates.
Food was delicious and served by friendly and professional staff. The ambience is very nice, with a great selection of wines, overall a beautiful place. Would recommend and definitely will be returning.Food: 5/5
All around the restaurant is beautifully decorated and has lovely Italian themes. The menu had a large variety, we decided to go for… Calamari Pollo della case Tagliatelle con pollo House Special Crème Brûlée The Calamari starter was quite bland, but I do find that Calamari can hit or miss. Our mains were really enjoyable. The portion sizes were more than enough, so much so that my partner had to finish mine as I couldn't manage anymore. As there's always room for dessert, we decided on the Creme Brûlée, which was a change for us. Although I liked it, I discovered that it contained a lot of alcohol, which was not mentioned on the menu. We did speak to a member of staff about this and he did confirm it was alcohol, which for me was enjoyable although a little strong, but as my partner doesn't drink at all he couldn't enjoy it unfortunately. Overall we really enjoyed our time here, the staff were really friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend if you like Italian food. Visited for baby shower with 5 friends on Friday night. Great, calm and relaxed atmosphere. Service was outstanding! We were really looked after! Food tasty, presentation great! Definitely recommend! We will definitely be back! Well done Cucina Rustica Food: 5/5
