Saturday afternoon, bottomless brunch. Place was heaving, but service was quick and friendly. Great atmosphere, music a bit loud for me, but I'm getting on a bit now. Food was great and great range of cocktails. Will definitely be going back.
1st visit and can't wait to go back. From the moment we stepped through the door the staff were very friendly and attentive, service was amazing and the food to die for. 2 for 1 on Cocktails... Highly recommend. Thanks a bunch guys.
Went for a bottomless brunch. Price is great. Was so happy to hear the music has returned, though it seemed a bit low. Welcome reagge rum punch was a nice touch. Service was good- food came out within good time and was tasty. However about half way through our time we didn't have a drink for 30-40minutes, we spoke to two different members and then had 3 rounds of drink come at once. These had been rushed and taste too sweet. I was a little disappointed after that, the waitress offered us an extra 15 minutes on the table to finish the drinks we had if we wrote a review on Tripadvisor. However, I feel they should have offered it for the slow service.
We went for the brunch with unlimited cocktails, amazing drinks! We got alot of bang for our buck and the waitress served us right until our time was up. The coffee cocktail is a bit sickly if you have more than one, One Love is definitely my favourite! The buttermilk chicken and mac and cheese are to die for and I absolutely love their dumplings... Do the brunch, I can't wait to go back!
I spent the day in Birmingham centre and ended the evening at Turtle Bay. It was very busy when we arrived but luckily we got a table straight away. Had some wine and chose our food. Our server, Angelica was lovely, attentive and fun. Helped us choose our food which was great but I did find it extra spicy so if you like your food pepper hot go for it. We had salt fish fritters to start and
Was in a big group for this meal, but the staff handled orders and food really well. The food itself was good with my ribs being tender and the sauce was tasty. My only complaint is that it was a little too charred for my liking for the skin. Otherwise a good dish. The calamari starter was also good. Came back again and had the Jerk Salmon and it was also very good
Nice Carbbean restaurant. I had the Brown Stew Chicken which was spicy but nice, came with rice and peas and garnish. The Fizzy Mango came with crushed ice, again very tasty, and I finished off with an Americano. There was a lively atmosphere when I was there, with reggae music playing softly in the background. The "Washrooms" were downstairs and clean. The staff were friendly and the service was quick despite the restaurant being nearly full.
Amazing food ! And our waitress was so helpful in helping me choose what to have to eat, as I was worried about the food being too spicy for me.. She gave some great recommendations! The 2 for 1 cocktails were lovely too.... I Recommend the coconut espresso martinis with rum. Will definitely be eating here again
We didn't really have a good experience, the waiters were nice, but the second cocktail we had had a piece of glass in it after they had a crash at the bar. Third cocktail we got had a hair in it and we did get our cocktails replaced, they were apologetic and we got a 10% discount but I don't really think that's good enough for a situation that could have ended with one of us being at the hospital. Lucky we noticed the glass fast enough, but I don't think this issue was resolved properly.
The goat curry was delicious. The service was ok, not too fussy, fairly attentive but a tad bit slow. We went for lunch so it wasn't that busy. We hadn't booked and when we asked for a table of 8, they seemed to be a bit flustered about how they'd get us seated together.
