Given the pub up the road was full, it was lunchtime and food options are limited in the area we decided to finally try this place out (plus we have a ravenous 1 year old who was overdue her lunch!). When we first approached we were slightly baffled by the arrangement and the protocol. The food options were pretty limited and over-priced for what was offered. Not to mention all of the staff looked completely disinterested from greeting us to taking our order. The hot drinks we ordered were freezing by the time we were seated. I ordered the all day breakfast, which arrived with items missing and under-cooked sausages. I pointed these out to the staff, was told I was wrong and that the sausage was fine (it was completely pale and uncooked in the centre). The toilets were also disgusting - with dirt everywhere and toilet seats hanging off. I ate what wouldn't give me food poisoning and we moved on.

Love this place. Totally unique, fantastic food and great coffee. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Dog friendly, my dog is always made welcome. Dine here then take a walk along the river or beach front, fantastic.

Lovely little find. Warm and cosy on the cold day I was there. Dog friendly. I had a lovely bacon roll and coffee. I didn't pay so can't comment on value.

Sweet and cute little cafe. Delicious food, best coffee and cakes in the town and the friendliest staff. Dogs allowed too. Bikes can safely locked and kept an eye on through cosy windows while warming up after a cold ride.

This cafe is incredible!! You will not believe your eyes when you see the cakes available, I had the chocolate muffin and it was heavenly. My auntie said that the apple and fig scone was the best scone she had ever had. The savory food is good but the cakes and hot drinks are really where this cafe excels.
