Had a long wait to be seated but that wasn't the issue. Also this is expected its a popular location. Ordered our main food and dessert at the same time. As we had to make a reservation later, so wasnt wanting to be there too long. Had to wait 45 minutes to find out that they have forgotten our order. Service was poor, the cakes we had were okay nothing amazing. Order a large drink which felt more like medium. Just disappointed by my experience. Maybe I'll have to try again.

Excellent food, excellent service. The ambience is very good, music is not too loud, the people as well. The decorations makes you feel you're in a tropical jungle/exotic place. The food variety is great as well as the quality. The prices, in my opinion, are fair, if we take into consideration the location as well...

A special place, it doesn't need the Happy Potter connection really. The back room has a high ceiling and huge windows so it is bright and yet cosy with a fireplace and sofas. Certainly a good place to write as well as sit with friends and chat. Good food, reasonable prices and they also raise money for childrens' charities with the various souvenirs you can buy; hats and mugs with their elephant logo. Service is friendly and efficient. I came out of here feeling renewed and refreshed. What more do you want from a cafe? Oh, the Harry Potter graffiti is fun to read in the loos. It gives you a sense of the idealism, imagination and energy of the young.

One of the most popular places in Edinburgh. It's quite nice to visit, but sometimes the qeues are mental. Good variety of teas, coffees and, of course, sweets and cakes. The prices are quite low, considering how popular the place is, they don't take advantage of the popularity of the place. Remember to visit the toilets, people have been putting up messages and drawings and it is quite impressive.

Not only the birthplace of Harry Potter, but also home to some delicious baked goods and hot drinks! You can find gluten free cakes and rum-filled hot chocolates all in one menu. It can get crowded as it is a popular tourist attraction for HP fans, but it’s worth the wait. Staff is friendly and helpful. Make sure to stop in the bathroom to see the Harry Potter love on the walls!
