Excellent pub, great beer, great food. The beer was Timothy Taylor Landlord in excellent condition. To eat I had the Belly Busta all day breakfast, great food at a good price, my wife had the scampi, she said the same as me. Situated next to Durham prison hence the picture

The staff were very helpful and polite. The food was lovely but the menu was quite standard for a pub.

Food arrived on time and was tasty , only problem, we didn't receive the naan bread with our Currys

Disgraceful. Staff rude on phone when reserving. Put us in corridoor and when asked if we could move told we couldn't. Empty tables everywhere. Different menu and prices to advertised online. Gave us three chicken wings instead of five and said 'they are big ones so you only get three'. Food substandard, even with the half price deal.

Food and service good good covid rules in place, drinks a little pricey but will go again.
