The Head of Steam is Durham’s best kept secret and home to the finest selection of beers, ales and spirits from around the world. Great tunes and an atmosphere to match.
Considering the restrictions we find our selves living with my my self and my wife had a great afternoon in the Head of Steam in Durham. Food was great and the service was excellent. Great beer. Well worth a visit.
Great wee place. Lots of drinks on tap. Does contactless. Two floors. Seats outside on the balcony for sunny weather. Comfy seats. Lots of tables. Good music. Nice decor. Pretty busy and lively. Didn't eat but good looking menu.
Food could be improved not using spices and pickles not kebabs
Covid safe. Pater 6.
Centrally located close to the bus station this pub is popular with locals for good reason. Our family and friends occupied the first floor on Saturday and enjoyed a terrific afternoon and evening here. Also good food menu choices, the pizza range is very good value for money. Will return!
Sell same ipa in Angel and tasted better
