Found this place by accident after sat now tried to send us over a closed river bridge. Glad we did, small immaculate pub, attentive staff, good selection of drinks at reasonable prices. It looks the part inside and out. Next time near Durham will make sure sat nav finds it.!
Oldy worldy pub. Its nothing fancy but serves the purpose for a quick drink. Not sure if they do food as nobody was eating
Great bar with friendly staff and customers. Made to feel very welcome. Opening hours have changed during Covid best to check before visiting.
Really great oldie world pub. Very friendly staff who made us feel welcome. Very covid friendly. Will definitely visit again
A seat in the sun. Ideal.
Visited at lunchtime and felt very welcome, great banter with the locals. The two beers from Castle Eden where in excellent condition.

Great homely and traditional pub. Friendly staff and customers. Cask kept in good condition.
Great little bar that serves a good pint
This is such a lovely, friendly, welcoming bar and lounge. There's a good range of ale for hubby and whiskey for me. The toilets are outside, down a lane, but are very clean. Thoroughly recommend this little gem.
