Lovely traditional pub with an excellent choice of drinks. Screens to watch your favourite sport for the husband and an outdoor seating area too. I've recently moved back to Durham and I used to go to The Half Moon most weekends about 25 years ago, when it would be packed to the rafters and almost everyone smoked... happy days.

Great outside area with a TV. Great views onto the river. Quick service. Contactless. Only downside is they don't serve food. Great for drinks though and reasonable for city centre pub.

Very friendly atmosphere, nice staff, good crowd.

Witnessed owner be rude to staff and customers multiple times, really soured the mood so left promptly. Been visiting for a few years now so it’s a shame. Won’t be in a rush to return. However, nice and clean space.

Only had beer in this pub but was good service spot on..

Great visit seating outside quick staff great drinks great views of river and.bridge outdoors.
