Visited here today and was amazed. 3 courses for £19.99. The food was amazing. A salmon muffin with poached egg was my starter. I enjoyed every single mouthful. I the had a roast beef Sunday roast. The meat was cooked to perfection, the gravy was excellent and the meal was rounded off with fresh vegetables. The lemon tart which white chocolate ice cream rounded off the meal excellently. The perfect Sunday, and it was my birthday meal was complimented by the excellent professionalism, coupled with the excellent customer service of the staff. If you haven't been yet, I suggest that you give it a try.

Delicious food, fantastic service and David our waiter was awesome. Superb attention to detail and definitely went the extra mile looking after our table of 15. Would highly recommend.

This is the second time I have visited The Corner House. The first time was some two years ago on a Sunday. My friend is from Cristin and she rates this as one of her favourites. The food was dxceptional on that occasion and was that and more so today. The restaurant is split into the restaurant side and the bar side which has table service also. The restaurant served tables from 2 people upwards and was beautiful decorated and lit. The tables had beautiful candles and the room was lit beautifully. The bar side was where we chose to eat today. The area has long sofas, tub chairs and more traditional table chairs. The bar is extensive however I opted for tea whilst my friend has a diet cola. The tea was served in beautiful crockery and throughout the meal it was clear that sitting in the bar would serve no detriment to the quality of the food and the appeal of the presentation. My friend had a Prawn cocktail starter which she said was "the best I've ever had" and then she had fish & chips. I went for the Christmas menu and had an amazing Turkey meal with all horseradish mash and a generous selection of fresh green veg. The whole plate was huge and a massive portion. I then had Christmas Pudding which was delicious & presented to perfection. The meals were superb value. All staff were polite and friendly. There is a large car park which has a dedicated disabled parking area in easy access of the restaurant. There are no steps to negotiate which I appreciated using my crutches, but there are no obstacles to wheelchairs. I cannot recommend the Corner House, highly enough. An extensive menu, superb staff and satisfied customers. Go and see for yourself, you will not be disappointed.
