The landlord needs a lesson in manners. My friend and I were thrown out because we arrived at the same time as a lad that is barred. Why throw us out. My friend and I have never caused any trouble. Ever anywhere. My friend was really upset by him. Nasty man. No need at all

Still one of Preston's best pubs. Loads of original features and good selection of real ales. Definitely worth a visit.

Good real ale pub. Traditional tiled bar with separate rooms and snug. Back mirrored room/ alcove is the place to be. Real fires in winter. Function room upstairs.

The Black Horse is full of character with the original interior being stunning. The beer quality is superb - well conditioned and well served beer. It takes a bit of finding if you don't know the area but it is definately worth it.

A traditional old fashioned pub in Preston town centre. Any one interested in old fashioned traditional British pubs should visit the Black Horse in Preston. It has cosy little "offshoot" rooms to sit in and drink with your friends. Also it has a horseshoe bar rather than a modern straight bar set against a wall.
