The Hunters Pub & Dining

The Individual Inns group has refurbished this pub to a very high standard. Mg wife and I visit fairly regularly for a drink, and occasionally for a meal. Although we have not had what I would call a poor meal some have been better than others, so no real cause for complaint. However, from speaking to friends who spent a substantial amount of money on a meal on Christmas day it was atrocious with many of them receiving money back and a free drink by way of apology. This was compounded by a similar situation on New Years Eve, poor food and service followed by another apology and free meals and drinks. The Hunters is gaining an unwanted reputation for sub standard food and service, a poor state of affairs. There is no other pub within walking distance, therefore this area needs this pub to vastly improve, we need the Hunters to succeed. My comments are not meant to be derogatory, we need the pub, please sort out the issues before locals/ visitors lose faith. I believe the issues are Chefs who do not stay, why ? Poor pay is what is suggested, not sure if this is the problem but whatever the problem please sort it before it is too late

Second visit tonight. Food and service were good. One of our steaks was not cooked as requested but it was rectified without fuss and pretty quickly. The staff were all polite, friendly and efficient.. We will go back. Thanks

Good food and choice of specials. Great choice and good service. Well worth a visit.

Amazing food at good prices. Plenty of seating inside and out. The staff were ok, but not amazing - they made but forgot a dessert, which was served melted because of this. Toilets are located left of the bar (when facing it). Disabled toilet is also baby change - sliding door, so don't try to push it open.

One of the best pub in Preston! Friendly staff, good atmosphere and the food is fantastic! Adviced to all of my fiends!!
