Chiquito

I'm a very regular visitor and despite the obvious cost cutting measures i usually come away full and happy. Today however whilst out on lunch with a business partner, the service was awful. One inexperienced waiter isn't enough to run a restaurant, the wait time was ridiculous to say i only have a 60 minute lunch break... good job i had the afternoon off otherwise i would've had to walk out. The head waiter / manager looking fella was in the kitchen until the second chef arrived and the food itself was sub par presentation wise and looked very rushed and chucked together. I will be back because its usually good but today something was a miss.

We are regular visitors at chiquitos and we've always found the staff to be friendly with time to spend on looking after the customers. The food is great with plenty of choice and the restaurant is clean and welcoming. Favourite server on this visit was Isabella and Dan on manager was brilliant too.

Today was mine and my girlfriend 1 year anniversary, we decided to have a meal at Chiquito. We made a really bad decision by doing so. This is why: 1. Since me and my girlfriend are picky eaters we didn't fancy anything on the adult menu so we asked for a young adults menu. The waiter gave me a dirty look when I did so. 2. The food we got was just slightly warm and didn't taste good at all 3. We waited a good 20 minutes for the waiter to collect our dishes and to give us the recipe The bill came to £16.90, for couple of pounds more then that me and my girlfriend could have a really nice meal at pizza hut. I seriously wouldnt recommend this restaurant to anyone. you're better off going maccies and be more satisfying then eating in Chiquito

Waited to be spoken to for around 15 minutes and were then told that there would be a 20 minute wait to be seated. The restaurant had plenty of available seating and can only assume that they were short staffed. Could only see one person behind the bar, one person waiting on tables and one guy in and out of the kitchen. Very disappointed. We'd been to the odeon and we're looking forward to a meal out for our anniversary. Fortunately enjoying a very nice meal at the Ribble Pilot.
