Very attractive rooftop restaurant with stunning views of the Acropolis. Dishes were creative, flavoursome and beautifully presented. Service was generally good, with waiters keen to explain the menu and advise on wines. The homemade bread and salt combination was a revelation! Unfortunately parts of the service were lacking. Potato sides with the main course, for example, were forgotten, and so arrived following a reminder after we had finished eating. A very good restaurant but, at top prices, the service needs to be excellent to warrant a 5-star review.
Had a fantastic meal here on our first evening in Athens. Our server George was amazing. He literally catered for our entire group of 14 people, all drinks and meals served to the correct person. Service and food brilliant and the views of Acropolis are outstanding. Thank you again to George and the team. We had the octopus main, lamb main, we shared the bread for starters which came with amazing olive oil and sea salt.
I arrived here for the first night of my holiday in late April 2022 - the restaurant is a great all rounder. Sat on the rooftop overlooking the Acropolis which is stunning when the sun goes down. The food was tasty and paired with nice wines - recommend the Greek Sparkling Wine! The whole experience was really good. The staff make you feel welcomed and have great recommendations to offer! My experience of this restaurant was really good, it’s great to be able to support local and they earn the 5* review by far!!!
An amazing view accompanied by great food and atomsphere. Would recommend the lamb. Staff are friendly and quick. It’s a great experience to dine with an unobstructed view of the acropolis. It’s definitely a must if you are in Athens and make sure you ask for a table with a view!
We came during the off-season, but I still recommend a reservation because without a reservation you don't get the tables with the best view, though honestly there isn't a bad seat in the house. You can clearly see the Acropolis and the valleys and city surrounding it. A top notch view and service with excellent food at a reasonable price. Two of us had the excellently aged tri-tip plate and the third had the chicken and it was all delicious, properly cooked, beautifully plated, and excellently seasoned. We also had the "Gladly" mocktails and the lemonade and found them to be overpoweringly sweet with flavored syrups, but once diluted with water, quite delicious. Vegetarian options: They offered several vegetarian meal options in both the appetizer and main course level, and all of the desserts appeared vegan as well. Kid-friendliness: There were children there, however, the rooftop garden is a small space that would not be conducive to children if they weren't able to keep their seats.
The view is great and the food was delightful. The view of the Pathenon is great but you won't see the sunset from there. You will have reflexions in pictures from up top so better just to sit back and enjoy the atmosphere without worrying about pictures. For the food, I had the lamb and it was so tender it fell off the fork. My friend had the chicken and it was nice and juicy inside. Definitely make reservations even though it was half empty they prefer to have the right number of staff available. All who were very attentive and made great suggestions for wine.
We had an amazing time at Hill. The service, the food, and the location are all impeccable. They took great care of us and even took time to make recommendations for Santorini, the next leg of our trip. I would not hesitate to dine here again, and I highly recommend it.
It was nice for me to eat my brunch on the roofgarden place oh hill. Everything was very tasty and the staff was kind. I would prefer our dishes to have small salad as side. We took an omelette with cheese from Crete and one croque madame.Food: 5/5
My wife and I loved the food and the service very much! You can’t bet the view! I highly recommend the seafood spaghetti! Incredible! My wife got the gyro and it was huge! We will be back!
We dined on the top floor with Acropolis in the back drop. We took our children, and they enjoyed a special meal created especially for them by the chef. Definitely a romantic spot to dine. I had the beef cannoloni. Please follow my travel reviews on IG motheroftravel & lovepinesrealty.
