Stopped by for lunch with Mrs C, great value and really tasty. I had fish and chips which, despite the reviews here, was really nice with crispy batter and perfectly cooked chips. Mrs C had gammon which arrived on a sizzling platter with perfect chips and a side of mushrooms and both meals for under a tenner. I have to say I had proper food envy when I saw the gammon. Normal food prices were pretty good anyway but the lunchtime and happy hour deals are really good. The only disappointment was that I've driven past this place a thousand times and I've only just discovered it.

Not a good impression. Tired needs a lick of paint. Returned 6 days later still not beer delivery just unexceptable. Redo the toilets. Doors all scuffed. Just needs a good manager with a eye for detail and a high standard.

Great price and decent food. Make sure you check for vouchers on vouchercloud when you go. Service can be a bit slow at times but only because it can get really busy.
