First time, but not my last time, at Coletta. The service, food, and drinks are all great! But it’s is pretty pricey. I am vegan, but went with two non-veg friends. We all enjoyed our meal. The calamari was really good and so crispy. I ordered the truffle pizza, which was a bit heavy. I love truffle, but there was another topping on the pizza that gave it a sort of goat cheese flavor may not be for everyone. I also ordered the margarita which was delicious but a bit water down. Will go back to try they’re other dishes and maybe get dessert next time!
Loved our experience at Coletta! Cozy and beautiful vibe for a date night. Our server Kyle was friendly and helpful. The tartar was the best my partner has ever had.The specials were really enticing with the chicken skewer especially! Best vegan chicken I’ve ever had! Loved the pepperoni pizza as well! Don’t skip out on dessert - best chocolate mousse and light strawberry dessert every I wish we lived in NYC so we could always come here! One of the best vegan restaurants in NYC!
Such an adorable vegan restaurant! Servers are very caring, and it's calm and quiet enough to talk with your guests. Food can satisfy both meat-haters and lovers. All "cheese", "fish", "meat" taste awesome and feel like real ones or slightly better than them. You'd better to carefully review the ingredients shown in menu because some of them have very unique flavors. Dessert is also delicious but could be too sweet for Asian tourists. Although I ordered many dishes today, just because I'm curious, two main dishes and one appetizer is enough for two people. Considering the quality, the price is pretty reasonable ~$30/person is also enough. Overall, it was a unique and great experience. Vegetarian options: All ingredients are vegan, so don't worry if food tastes like fish or meat.
Very rarely is the highlight of the evening the starter dishes but, this evening was all about the appetizers. Vegan calamari and the bruschetta were amazing. The menu has great options and I bounced around with my choices. I anticipate going back and trying a few more items and if I find that one entree that gives me what I'm looking for, I'll gladly update my rating. The staff was knowledgeable and just all around great. The atmosphere is upbeat with a great music selection and one of the servers has a great voice and you'll hear her ride the beat to a few songs which was nice to me. The vegan prosciutto is amazing and the texture of the vegan chicken is great. The flavor of the chicken is a little flat. It just didn't give me the zing I wanted. This is a great choice no matter what and you definitely should make a reservation.
First time dining here. I am a vegan and went with a non vegan. We both enjoyed our food. The atmosphere and service was amazing. For dessert I would stick to the tiramisu instead of the lemon cake. I would love to eat here again. It’s definitely worth it.
Amazing vegan Italian food!! Every dish we tried was incredible. We had the “calamari”, eggplant lasagna, baked rigatoni bolognese, special meatball pizza, and the chocolate dessert which was absolutely to die for. One of my favorite desserts ever even compared to all other non vegan desserts I’ve had! Would definitely go back in a heart beat.
Absolutely loved our dinner at Coletta. Good variety on their menu and really awesome specials everyday. Everything on the menu is so flavorful and memorable. The cheese plate was excellent, but we wished their were less sweet items and a few more savory. The impossible meat calzone was extremely exciting especially with the green sauce it came with. The chick'n Alfredo pasta was so tasty with the extra Parmesan cheese upon request. Our only recommendation for the Alfredo is it could've used a hint of citrus to lighten up the flavor. The prices are high here, so that's the reason we give 4/5. This won't be our weekly date spot for this reason, but definitely an awesome place to visit on special occasions.
12/10 would recommend Coletta to anyone looking for the BEST dining experience. The service, food, and ambiance are absolutely incredible! Stan was our server and was exceptional and attentive. We shared the Olive Rosemary bread appetizer, Steak Marsala, and Chick’n Alfredo dishes. Every bite was decadent and we want to come back to visit New York just to dine here again.
Mama Mia Pizzaria… can we say the best vegan Italian ever?!? Forgetaboutit… to say we tried everything on the menu is an understatement but my husband and another couple just had to try the classics… calamari, chick’n piccata, lasagna, tartar, risotto… even their tiramisu was perfection… the best part… ITS ALL VEGAN !!! They perfected their pizzas you honestly can’t even compare… buffalo chicken and mushroom truffle was perfection. I had to order the pepperoni for the house because I just had to share it with the family. The only Italian joint you need to go to and you wouldn’t even know it’s vegan. The service, the ambiance, the vibe is just the cherry on top… a new family favorite…
Finally had the chance to dine at Coletta and it far surpassed my vegan expectations! There is an excellent selection of food items to choose from. We ordered family style and tried numerous dishes. Each meal was wonderful. The flavors, combinations and presentation was impressive. One of the top vegan places with great vegan pizzas! The ambiance was very pleasant and comfortable. The staff was nice and helpful too. Great place for a romantic dinner date.
