The lady on the till was miserable, the food wasn't too bad but the chips were overcooked and it came on a cold plate and the tea went into a cold mug so overall it was poor quality service. The cafe itself is lovely, bright, clean and comfortable, I just think it needs better management and a smile.

Seeing a parrot next to the counter is some what a surprise. Food is no frills and I must have picked the wrong day because there was no bread bun for my burger! Listening to other people order their food, it sounded like there was a few things they'd run out of. Not bad value for money though, paying less than a tenner for a full English, a burger, chips and drinks.

Love love love this place, clean and comfortable with friendly staff. Delicious home cooked food perfect change to the fast food option, especially lunches for smaller children
Fantastic place to grab a bite to eat. Very clean and laid out well. Menus laid out well too and clear to read. Staff are great, very polite and went above and beyond to help us as we have a son with food allergies. Food is very cheap and the portions are huge! Waiting time was about 10 min and it came out very hot. Signs around the cafe say they are proud everything is home made.
Great food, friendly staff and good value
Thank you so much for accommodating us today. I brought a young lady with me today who has to have her own food due to her needs. I had food which was fab. But thank you for being so helpful towards her
Love the lady who runs this. We come from Leeds 3/4 times a year to visit our Nanna and she never forgets us or the kids. Prices are good!! Food is beautiful and all over friendly atmosphere.
