My Friends and I booked this place for the 2nd March to go to a comedy night. Due to the whether and the police closing all the road we were unable to get there and unable to contact them on the 1st of March as no one was answering the phones. We were unable to get a refund as they wont answer any emails. So we are £140 out of pocket this is absolutely discussing to be completely ignored. I would not recommend this place as there care of duty does not exist !!!!!

Hotel in great location right next to Exeter St Davids railway station and not too far from the city centre. Room was a reasonable size but in need of being updated. House keeping was minimal. Breakfast was good with self service for cereal, toast and juices with choice of cooked breakfast which included smoked haddock with poached eggs, full English breakfast with vegetarian option available. The menu does have the basics of hash browns, beans and tomatoes to suit those on vegan diets. All in all a comfortable stay but the lack of house keeping experienced during my stay here is the main reason for the lower scoring.

An excellent room and breakfast. Lovely local jam sold in the kitchen too.
