I wonder how the phone line works in a surgery!!! I was waiting there with my daughter for the appointment and the receptionists were chatting to each other at 8:15 am.Out of curiosity, i rang the telephone line and it said i was 11 in the queue. even if you ring at 8:00,you will be like 20 in the queue etc I really don’t understand the system. Being a nurse myself, i wonder how much pressure I work under.I know the booking is now through Anima. But just thinking how will be the queue moved if no one is attending calls or is there any external office where the calls are dealt with!!!
Very low quality service with tax-payers funding. Today is the recent unsatisfactory examples of my visits to this GP. I had given a call yesterday, they told me give us a call tomorrow in the morning that I did that today. They said same thing asking me to call tomorrow if I want a in person face-to-face GP consultation. So that I said to OK to telephone consultation, actually I had to. I think they mat constantly ask you to give a call tomorrow at 08:00 AM whenever you give a call. Despite you call at 08:00 AM, you will be in a queue consisting of sometimes 5, sometimes 11, sometimes 7. Anyway. The doctor made the phone consultation inviting me to GP for some samples. I went there today for giving what the GP doctor requested from my side. I kindly asked GP reception lady to check out my prescription also. She said that "please wait, I want to do it one by one." I said nothing because this request was pretty fine and pretty OK. I completed the sample coming back to reception desk. At that moment, the reception lady had some relatives visiting her that both reception lady and visiting relatives Two ladies hugged each other couple of minutes later. The reception lady asked one of team mates to serve me and went out of the counter desk and started hugging her visitors!. The newcomer reception lady asked my information to get back to my records. I am fine to give my birthday, name, etc. but it is weird to interrupt the service in the middle when your relatives visit you at a GP that is on public service. It is weird to accept relatives as visitors at a public serving place and it is also very much weird to stop serving a patient and start welcoming your relatives as your guest. By the way, nobody can say that it did not happen since I have got photo of my sample and the related paper with me that it includes date and time. Another example; some months ago About September another lady invited me to GP saying that you live closer. When I went there, nobody at reception has any idea about it. I showed them the mobile phone call register, they check it out and said that yes it is GP gave you call but they did not know who she was. Hours later they said sorry saying that she was one of the persons working there. Long stories shorts; this GP needs some very urgent improvement in terms of service quality. I hope lead nurse, GP doctors and/or reception team lead will read this review and take appropriate action for this behaviour.
Honestly the surgery doesn’t even deserve 1 star. Absolutely appalling patient care service. My mum has been suffering from terrible leg problems - the GP refuses to offer any face to face appointments , diagnosed her over the phone incorrectly. Asks her to go to physio who also do a phone consultation and offer her an appointment 2months later. She is unable to function properly at all, her mental health is at an all time low and the GP absolutely does not care. You call for an emergency appointment which also has 2/3weeks wait. Why take on so many patients if you can’t offer a good service?
Worst service ever. When we speak through the phone, they don't try give best for the patient. So rude when they speaking. I've been to surgery for my face but still not better. They giving different doctors every time. When I asked for same doctor they telling that doctor is not available and giving me another doctor. So, they are giving me different medicines every time. Now for my hand pain also when I said my pain is so bad. Still I have to wait to tell the doctor until next month over the phone.
Worst service ever. It is just a joke and we need to pay for this sh.t service. I tried to transfer here and a lady at reception told me it takes 10days to register…than another lady made it for me in 3minutes. They cant speak english normally, the receptionist asked me “ Huh?” -I thought so that was a question for “How can I help”.. Than I went to meet with a lady ,I asked for blood test. She told me they can register me at the reception. The lady told there I need to call them.. I tried to but the line is horrible busy.. so I ended up to fill the online form .. I was waiting 1week for someone to call me back ,however I sent a reminder every day.. finally they called me back and the doctor suggested blood test but I haven’t got any appointment confirmation.. so I tried to call them 1,5hour waiting and finally I was booked for it. It is just a huge joke what is going on here. Someone should really do something. So sad to see that you pay for this laziness and incompetence.
DO NOT COME HERE!!!! The receptionists are absolutely miserable and useless, the one job they have is to present good patient service but they are so terrible. Poor communication, no help whatsoever. Act like they are some prestige woman who have some high top job. Please relax and laugh a little.
Every time if we calling the receptionists never give appointments. Doctors are very good but receptionists and the manager both don’t care what the patients wants
If I could give this place no stars I would. Its disgusting never get an appointment doctors never reply to your E consults don't deserve to call them selves a surgery, awful place.
My review is just for Dr.Prasad he is a wonderful doctor and a very wonderful person and human.
An Excellent Surgery for me and my family almost 18 + years, Doctor Yogendran, Doc Prasad, Doctor Bala and Doctor Chandran have been always done their best in these difficult times , they have never let us down including reception staff all these years. Like many other businesses in the world where service levels fluctuates and it applies to very busy Surgery such as Church Lane Surgery but they try to do their best. Well done to all!
